Day 5 part 2 PATPONG don’t bother guys unless you really must see a ping pong show

Decided to visit the night market in PATPONG, it helped that’s there us also a Red light district in the same area. There is a really friendly bar in Soi Cowboy no girls , great to sit and people watch with no one hassling for your Baht. Just for a break. Friendly staff and patrons.

Went and did some shopping, there are 5-6 malls in central BK , just about anything you can think of you can buy a copy of here, and it's reasonable quality.

Ended up near Japanese street had a foot massage (yes another one) . Had some great Japanese food.

Then walked up the KTV / karaoke streets hundreds of Japanese Looking girls shrieking at any Japanese man that came within range and that was quite a long range the noise was quite something. As a non Japanese I was completely  ignored by the girls. Couple of the Mamasans smiled at me but that was it, I don't enough Thai or Japanese to try and talk my way. Got a tuk tuk to Soi cowboy, had a couple of quiet drinks , people watching. Then plumped on Baccara club, this has mixed reviews.

I found it great , there are no girls trying to drag you in, you can even have a drink outside.

Inside there is a large dance floor with tierd seating round the edge, can remember if there were seats actuals at the dance floor.

Seated by one of the servers, joined by a really pretty looking girl and her friend, here we go I thought trying to get me to take two.

Then I looked up there is an upper floor , the floor was glass and the girls up there were sans underwear and tops, some sight.

I didn't get up there as occupied, more drinks , more friendly, not pushy about the barfine. I brought up after about 4 drinks.700 Baht  + 3000 for the lady. Cost me about another 1000 in tips cab fare back to hotel, and cab fare for her after.

Not going to give blow by blow but , owo , ro, dfk, covered sex multiple positions. I was as happy thing.

15 mins of cuddling then she dressed, asked me for my number, said no and off she went.

Shower and snoring within 15 mins

One topic for those that enjoy the fruits of a certain plant. It's now semi legal here. There are shops everywhere. Some if not most are really upmarket.

It most certainly is, I only pay 200 there. You just need to be firm and polite from the off, (they are actually very nice in there). It's a good idea to buy your server a drink, they will look after you after that also.

Day 9 Another Soapy Massage

The website is definitely better than the place, I bet it looked quite good 30 years ago , but very tired now. To get in you have to walk up a dark alley off Soi 33, came close to not bothering.

Any way got in and presented with a menu either a massage or Nuru massage, opted for the later 3000 Baht for 60 mins

Line up followed ok but not great, chose Jenny a 30 something nice looking lady.

All the girls were hot a provided a good service nothing exotic

Very variable on quality of place and service don't believe the websites

Both really good, first one has more of a spa feel especially if you go for the Onsen bath option, they have an option to have 2,3,4 or 5 masseuses at the same time, on one visit I had the 5 hand for an hour, quite an experience

The second on basically the same massages but they were allot stronger, had me yelping a couple of times even when I asked for medium.

You can see the prices on the websites, you are treated like a king in these places

I am 57, also quite overweight, 17st and unfit, I did us ed meds and I did have to lower my expectations of my self a bit,  and take a couple of days off having fun to replenish. While doing research it’s easy to get sucked into thinking it will be non stop shagging only to find out that’s not possible because of your own limitations.

As with most things though it’s the chase that’s fun as well , finding the right girl , not just picking the first one, there are plenty of fish in that pond all willing to let you have your fun, for baht of course.

One thing I'd say when it comes to lady drinks.  If a lady asks for a drink and you want to buy her a drink is to say yes 1 drink is OK (and signal 1 drink with your finger).  That way she won't charge you for a shot of spirit and a shot of mixer.  I always found that worked.
Also, always check your bill when it comes back to check for bill padding.  If it looks wrong send it back immediately.  I usually check bin after a couple of drinks so it never gets into the 1000s.

Agree with this, it’s down to you to manage your bar bill ! Some will try it on

The other thing is to pay with cash, if you offer a card then they often add 10%, they also disappear with your card. Sometime they get you to sign the receipt other times not. One bar tried adding 100% to the bill. Soon learnt that lesson.

Cash in theses places even if you have to get money before you go in.

When I get back I will do a list of all these little things
