Has anyone been following this case?
- A alleged rapist in the US called Nicholas Alahverdian / Nicholas Rossi fakes his own death and disappears to Scotland.
- He starts up a new life claiming that he is an Irish Orphan called Arthur Knight.
- "Arthur" is admitted to hospital after catching COVID. Whilst in hospital he is identified as US fugitive Nicholas Rossi. His DNA matches and he has matching tattoos.
- He claims he is not Nicholas Rossi. He says someone tattooed him whilst he lay in a coma in hospital in order to set him up.
- He challenges an extradition case, and a court ruled that he would be extradited to the US to stand trial for rape.
- Whilst in Scotland he got married and his wife seemingly believes his story.
Has anyone been following this and what are your thoughts? Is he guilty or has he been set up and faked his death in order to buy time to find evidence to prove his innocence against corrupt cops? Did you go to school with "Arthur" in Ireland and are able to speak up for his innocence?
I am intending to find a deep-dive podcast or YouTube video on this guy to try and get some more details as the whole thing sounds nuts and kind of hilarious.

A hilarious interview where "Arthur" attempted to prove his innocence. I promise you this is not satire.
