Author Topic: If a lady not at her best.  (Read 523 times)

Last night I accidentally got a load of deodorant in my eye. The reason-They have changed the bottle. The roll on bit is seperate in the box and you have to screw on yourself. Trouble is I didn't know that the bottle had been changed. Have opened the bottle and shook it like I usually do before applying. Two thirds of the bottle went in my eye.

After spending half a night in Casualty I now feel a lot better and the pain has subsided. I feel fit to work, but I look like Elephant lady.

I have a few bookings scheduled for today.

I dont know whether I should cancel them or just warn them all(when they text to confirm) that I dont look my best today then give them the choice.

Guys, if you had booked a WG and something similar happened would you prefer her to cancel or give you that choice?

I think you should explain as you have here and give them the choice to rebook. Even if they go ahead with the booking, that is the kind of thing most guys would appreciate.

Sounds painful. At least you won't get a smelly eye though.

Ouch, sounds nasty, if it were me that had a booking with you I would appreciate a text letting me know and giving me the choice rather than being let down or getting a surprise when I arrived.

If you feel well enough to see clients I'd give them an informed choice. I had bad bruising on my arm after having the contraceptive implant fitted, wasp stings gone wrong, an injury requiring a bandage over the years- all self inflicted :D and simply explained my affliction at confirmation time. Most guys were fine with it.

If I had never seen the girl before I would expect her to cancel, if she was one of my regulars then I would want to go ahead with the booking.

Definitely give the guy the choice.

Some guys will want to see you when you are best, others will already be in a state where they are up for the appointment and thus get annoyed at the cancellation.

I saw a girl who told me she had fallen off her horse 2 hours earlier and she had knocked her head.  She looked pretty dizzy and queasy while she was riding me and her oral was very gentle and tentative. She then spent the rest of the booking trying to navigate nhs direct on her iPhone to find concussion symptoms.

I saw a tweet from her the next day saying she spent the rest of the night in A&E.
