Good question to which there's no proper answer
They used to run flats in Preston, Southport and Liverpool, along with a parlour in Walton and others elsewhere. There was certainly a criminal influence behind it 5-6-7 years ago. Since then the Preston sites have gone, the Walton parlour has changed management a couple of times. It's unclear if the Southport and Walton operations are still linked.
What is fair to say is that anyone operating a brothel or parlour in Walton WILL have the local gangs on their backs - either directly controlling them, or taking "protection" money. Whether that's true of Southport is anyone's guess.
