Punt Friendly Hotels in and around Reading

Hi all,

Any advice on punt friendly hotels in and around Reading (Bracknell, Wokingham, Maidenhead, Slough)? Preferably one which allows day booking.

I used Penta Hotels in Reading town centre for ages but their prices are no longer feasible.

Best not to name individual hotels on here as some hotel have been known to Google for themselves and find out certain things are happening in their hotels and it then becomes difficult for SSs and SPs to use them.

The hotel by the football stadium is ok. Doesn't need cards for the lifts.

The one in bracknell opposite the bagshot road Sainsburys seems very popular.

How do you propose the OP gets advice on what hotels are best to use without naming them.

This might be true, if the escort is using the hotel as an in-call location, and seeing many punters during the day, or days.  How ever it looks like the OP is looking for an escort to do an out-call to his hotel room.

So with the OP, naming hotels, shouldnt be an issue, and if the hotel was to question him, all they need to know, it his guest, and for them to make any assumptions would be wrong.

Novotel in town centre is pretty good. i booked it via day use plenty of time for my seeking dates. the reception is out of the way on the side and you don't necessarily need to walk past them to get to the lfit. But I think keycard is needed for access. but because the reception is kinda out of the way, i often just sit down at the lounge and wait for my dates there and it doesn't look all that odd. The rooms are nice and comfortable too.

The Ibis next door though should be avoid. Not only you have to walk past the reception to get to the lift (and the receptionists clearly stare and check the people who walked past them), need keycard for the lift, but a lot of the room didn't have air con either so they are really hot in warm weather (not sure if this is still the same though)

Very useful thread for me - being a newbie to the punting world I’d never even heard of day-room use until these posts appeared!

I’ve now used one, albeit not in Reading, worked perfectly for my requirements this week!!

There's dozens or AirBnB's in Reading often these are cheaper / better for multi day stay.

Parkside Hotel, Reading

Shabby, but offers day rates and is punter friendly.... as in they know what is going on, but happy to take your cash
as long as you don't leave spunk all over the carpet too often.

It's now a Village Hotel, my last review was of a punt there, it was fine, though I wasn't paying for the room.
It seems to be a self service reception, nobody to walk by, and parking free for a couple of hours without needing to register.
