I am currently in the planning stage of my next trip and was interested in going to Zanzibar. Has anyone been before and has some insights on the scene out there?  Tried to look for a thread but it seems long dead

Went there recently. I probably wasted a couple of days getting to understand it. If you google zanzibar escorts you get a few hits. Prices range from 50-200 USD. I saw one for 50 and it was a decent experience. Maybe a bit more like an SB than a straight up escort. In the end she seemed disappointed when I kicked her out.

Second option I tried was massage. There are a few shops around. $30 for an hour. I tried two and tge both got very close to my tackle which ended up rock hard. But there was no offer of extras and I didnt want to push it.

Last thing I tried was Forodhani gardens. This is right on the waterfront in stonetown. Everyone goes there for the night food market from about 6pm. Families, kids, boys larking around. I found that if you position yourself on a bench near a group of girls, chances are one of them will start talking to you and then mention they do massage. Long story short they end up back at your hotel. Again its a bit like SB. They dont think they’re hookers so you need to take it easy but I had a couple of great experiences. Negotiated fifty bucks each time

One tip, take your own condoms as I dont think the girls carry them. I always do that abroad anyway as Ive never trusted foreign johnnies lol.

Finally my hotel insisted on me paying a $30 surcharge to let the girls into the room. Not sure if that is standard or I got conned. It was a top hotel so maybe that

The escort sites - not great. You can see for yourself but it was good sex. Sex/BJ - didnt try RO as it didnt feel safe. Some seem to offer anal but not my bag. More towards the GFE/SB experience.

Yeah Gambia is good but seeing the same places and eating the same food is getting a bit old.... I need a change of scenery. It's either gonna be Zanzibar, mobasa or Ghana (Accra).

If it was purely for women Gambia would do nice but I kind of like to see new places too and even Gambia I treat as a holiday with a bonus. I probably aren't gonna see better women than right here but yeah just something different to see or learn about or explore in between would be nice as well....

I would go sooner but family holiday in turkey in a few weeks so need to get that stuff out of the way first. Zanzibar definitely looks like one to visit though I just need to do a bit more research on all 3 places in Africa I wanna visit before I make my choice.

I did do some research and in the end I ended up going Thailand again. For me the main reason I went back was the variety and choices. I felt Zanzibar would’ve been limited in options and not as developed. Happy to be told otherwise!
