There was a 20 minute spell of torrential rain across East London around 1.45 today - I almost got soaked going to a punt  ;)

I've noticed my neighbours are wearing sunglasses a lot. I think it might be to cut down the glare from my incredibly white legs that haven't seen daylight since 2007.

A great full English breakfast, at a lovely Yorkshire garden centre.

It was Fathers Day, lots of dads there.

It’s ok but then I’d need the grumpy old men thread to moan about all the extra weeds it causes to shoot up :D

Panackelty.

Never heard of that before, I had to look it up.

Must enter that in the "what have you learned today thread".

Not a big fan of them myself unless they are hot with some fresh cream on them ( but only at Christmas)  :D

Took the M car out for a spirited run and stopped for a coffee miles from home.

Must do that again, and soon

That will be 'Sally B', now the only flying B-17 in Europe, and yes, based at Duxford. Only recently had the green light to fly again after being grounded by a technical issue / legal rating loophole thing. Good to know that she is back.

After a bout of illness in May which required a hospital stay, I walked up Helvellyn t'other week. And down again!
In fact had a brilliant week in the Lakes and Yorkshire, did at least 20,000 steps each day and saw things like the breathtaking Rievaulx Abbey which I've always wanted to see with my own eyes.

Only five left flying worldwide and was still in service right up to 1968 by the Brazilian airforce
The problem with so many old airplanes is their airframes deteriorate over time due to the stresses placed on them. The Sally B was used in the film Memphis Belle.

Sat in a cafe having a cuppa with the OH and noticed a young woman walk past in tight jeans with one of the nicest rear views I have seen, I do love a nice bum in jeans.  About 10 minutes later she walked in the cafe and stood in my eyeline.  Gave me a right old smile.

OH wondered why I suddenly treated her to another drink and a piece of cake.

Just re watched Red Sparrow - some very nice shots of Jennifer Lawrence!  Looks great in a swim suit and even better naked.  Reminded me of those photos that were hacked from her phone back in the day.
