google slides spam

Hi all, I wonder if you can answer my question regarding google slides. I received a spam on google slides of which i Opened it and I wanted to know whether simply opening a slide presentation on google which came from spam can cause a virus, malware or whether the one who sent me the slide can hack into my email account?

no, I didn't mean to open it. I don't use google slides but it popped up and I clicked on it. again, accidentally done as I was trying to delete it rather than open it.
