Ive come to the conclusion that the punting dynamics have shifted somewhat, and that for the average punter its not good news.

why ?

simple supply and demand. the number of providors has dropped, solid dependable ones within the price point of a punt. Were seeing an upward swing that is putting punting out of reach, and of course the number of providors has dropped resulting in many punters looking for girls are simply not there, supply and demand prices go up.

Manchester Edinburgh two of the areas with parlours. Edinburgh Two i know of gone, one i would have never thought would have gone just closed recently. And of course with the briexit the old influx has dwindled.

Who knows if it will ever come back. no point crying over spilled milk but it has drastically altered the punting scene for many.

There still seems to a decent number of SPs. Prices have risen a little, but so have costs particularly rents for flats in city centre apartments, energy bills and council tax.

These increases don't fully explain the rise in prices for SPs. There is a certain amount of supply and demand about it too.

As has been said previously on here nobody is forcing anyone to see SPs. If you don't like the SP's fee then don't see the SP and save your money. It might have a longer term effect on prices, but clearly there is still a large number of punters willing to pay the higher SP fees, so that is unlikely.

Things may change if the economy takes a severe dip but that now appears to be unlikely.

Seriously though - prices hadn’t gone up in this area for well over a decade. I think they were due to go up a tenner or so. Though I do understand it may seem like bad timing when we’re all struggling from the price pinch.

Agencies in this area have only gone up a tenner. Parlours haven’t really changed at all (I’m aware two have increase their rates by a fiver lol).

Indies do whatever indies want. But there’s always ample options at lower price points around major cities. It just sometimes seems that people begrudge (some) girls charging more and being out of their price range.
