External Link/Members OnlyExternal Link/Members OnlyBooked as an indie. Appointment time and services agreed. On the day of booking radio silence so a days planning around the booking wasted. I noticed that her aw went down the same day.
I noticed some weeks later that she had availability on premium. Checked her aw to find she was available and mobile number displaying. Texted and got a reply. Then informed her that I was the punter she ghosted some weeks earlier. She told me her child had been unexpectedly rushed to hospital. Mmmm. Same day as the aw went down.
Decided to give benefit of doubt (I know!). Asked for approx DH1 location. Made a booking for later in the week. Place is near the hospital and land registry. This set alarm bells ringing as to how parking will probably be a right bugger. Queried the parking and was told there were no issues and could park there no bother.
I've checked out location and as I expected parking is restricted to residents only. Mon-sat 8-6 due to proximity to hospital. I'd hate another punter to take her advice at face value and then having to explain why a ticket has landed on the door mat. Did text her to inform her of this. Got ghosted again despite showing as working.
I'm posting this as a two pronged warning.
1. Have a plan B ready in case you get ghosted just like me.
2. Don't believe you can park in the residential area (unless you fancy taking a risk of a fine and a very awkward conversation at home).
Will give a miss now.
Happy punting everyone.
