You can try all the dating sites/apps as much as you like, but guys outnumber girls 20-1 on them. The girls basically get an inbox full of spam from guys wanting to fuck them. Then you get the sites like Fabs, where guys outnumber girls 100-1, even a half decent girl on there will get a few hundred messages a day from guys trying their luck. Even if you do get an initial reply, the chances are subsequent messages will get lost in the noise.
And look at it this way. You actually meet a girl on a dating site. Take her for a couple of coffees, maybe a couple of meals, then you might get laid. If that's all you're after you've basically spent enough that you could have just booked an escort and it's still not guaranteed.
Personally I'm on a couple of those sites/apps because I'm single and enjoy using them to meet people, but the times I just want to get fucked I book someone who's going to fuck me
Also worth noting that you do occasionally (mostly on Tinder) come across girls who are using it to advertise paid meets. Every single one of them expects a deposit.
