Dumb Question - How do you choose?

I spend quite a lot of time in London with work, and the issue I have with punting there is decision paralysis.  How do you make your way through the sheer number of girls available, and try and work out something worthwhile?

A couple of times I've ended up thinking I won't do anything, and then when the usual London socialising kicks off I find myself in Soho and at the mercy of everything that goes on there.  At least twice it's got incredibly expensive and unsatisfying.  In a 'mea culpa' moment, I admit I fell for one of the guys in a rickshaw or a taxi outside a strip club promising me somewhere great to meet girls.  I'm considering the Seeking route, given that I'm there so often, so maybe some sort of arrangement may work.  But for the shorter-notice visits, any advice on how to wade through things and actually pick someone genuine...?

Last couple of visits have varied wildly.  On one (near the ExCeL), I went for the 'nearest' option on AW and had a very enjoyable 2-girl with a pair of Brazilian girls.  On the next one, I put down a reverse booking and must have had about 50 bids, all of which were terrible.

Any advice before my next trip down welcome...!

-Stop doing what does not work for you.  I have good luck with RBs, but if they don't work for you, stop. (Never tried a last minute RB though - not surprised that is tricky)
-Same for Soho walk ups. And (ahem) rickshaw meets.
-Consider agencies.  The down side is it costs more, but £250 well spent is better than £180 wasted.  Know 2 or 3 that have broadly good feedback on this site.
-But what I do is have a London hotlist.  They are all well reviewed girls on this site.  I keep it up to date.  If I have a spare few hours in London, I phone any of them without further review, knowing I sorted it out in advance.  Not foolproof, but has worked out way more than not.  Had 2 good punts from my hotlist this year that were booked on the day (Cindy and Adrienne).  Had one good last minute punt from Diva.

Brilliant advice, thanks.  The taxi/rickshaw stuff takes you into a beautiful Mayfair apartment with an array of girls, all available for garbage service at around £1000 per girl per hour.  Not recommended. A London-specific hotlist based on links from here sounds like the way forward, I think.  Thanks again!

Hi. They aren't easy questions to answer indeed. I live in London but it took me a few years as a putner to figure out what I exactly like.
I think you should first look at what you want.

A) What is your budget for a random punting day in London? Bear in mind that paying more doesn't guarantee a better service. Don't expect to meet a 25 y.o. playboy model for 200£/hour, but also remember that a 1.000£/hour top model probably won't get you a 4 times better service than a 250£/hour SP.

B) What is your tipe of girl? Teen or more mature? Slim or busty?
Preference about the ethnicity? Perhaps you love south americans, or east asians, or russians, or black girl.

C) Do you prefer gambling with a new unknown girl, or would you rather play it safe (a recommended SP with multiple positive review)?

Once you make up your mind, I suggest you to start with an agency. When you have a bit of private time, open multiple websites of London escort agencies (many of them often have the same girls), browse them and open the profiles of a few SP. If you want to play it safe, copy-paste name of the girl and name of the agency on the search engine here on UKPT to see if she has any review.

I'll share some bits I wished I knew when I started punting. I've wasted a considerable amount of money with bad punts that were sometimes down to the SP, but a decent amount down to me.

• UKP is a great resource to filter out the scams and B&Sers from good SPs, and the outright dangerous. Use it, and contribute to keep it useful for others
• Figure out what you like, and see SPs who provide that experience - unless of course you're experimenting. You won't have a good time if you like a GFE/sensual meet, and you see an SP with 200+ green feedback who is more PSE-oriented
• Off the back of 2 above, remember anyone here can write a review. Some guys aren't after the same as you. Some are happy with a P&D, a quick shag with no FK or intimacy, for others its the whole point of a meet. What is not written or specified is sometimes just as, if not more important than what is written. When reading a review ask if you need clarity, normal manners apply
• If you end up with a shortlist of 5 SPs, don't try and pick one and paralyze yourself with indecision. Chances are most will not reply or be busy. Don't try and figure out who to book on your own, send a non-committal query out to each one and your decision will probably be made for you based on who is available/who replies. Read SPs profiles to see how they prefer contact, they're all different and this will maximize your chance of a reply
• Everyone in this industry (providers, buyers) are people, treat everyone with some common decency (unless you've consent to do otherwise  ) . Will make your life and conscience more peaceful

1) Do search on AW of who is in area using radius of x miles of your post code

2) Review SPs who are available and create a shortlist

3) Check reviews on here to eliminate a few and get a shorter shortlist possibly based on ease of getting to, price and services and order them in preference order

4) Work through your shorter shortlist contacting the SPs to see if they are available at the time you want. If they don't respond within a reasonable timeframe or say no, then try the next one in your list. If an earlier one gets back to you then you might be able to see them OR explain that you have booked someone else but you would like to see them another time. Don't leave the SPs dangling - give them a yes or no, so they can get on with other interested SS and they'll also keep a watch for enquiries from you in the future.

5) If you get to the end of your list without finding someone then give up the search and save your money. I have found that changing your search criteria or contacting SPs that don't match your requirements often results in a bad experience and a wasting of money.  In these situations it is best to save your money for the future.

I've got an AW saved search for Polish WGs aged between 18-35, who offer OWO and are available today, plus the same search for Hungarian WGs.  You can take it for granted that I like EE WGs.  I then peruse the lists and see who takes my fancy if I'm after a punt and haven't got one lined up.

I suggest you create similar searches based on your preferences and work off those.
