Hi,
I usually travel to London for my punts but have been thinking about York this time.
Partly to reduce costs, partly because I haven't visited for at least 15/20 years. Would like to see the Railway museum again.
One thing that puts me off is the lack of reviews.
I'm not looking for recommendations but an opinion on York itself.
Is it really that bad? Are there really so few shops offering extras?
Would it be better to be based in York and travel?
Doncaster, Wakefield and Harrogate all seem to be close by train.

Thanks

Hi

If it is a massage shop or a parlour experience you are looking for, I’m afraid York offers neither these days. There is one Chinese massage lady, but she is not cheap at £110 for a great massage and topless hand relief.

There are some good quality local independent girls but their prices are inflated. I’ve reviewed some.

We have a high number of Brazilian girls currently. Some Romanian. When the Races start - May - we get lots of tourers. We are starting to see a few already actually.

It depends in truth on what sort of experience you seek. But there are no parlours or massage places, as I say

Thanks for an up to date opinion.
Not totally unexpected.

I'll just have to decide if I want to make York a base and travel.

I don't know how easy it is to get to Selby from York, but there are 2 Chinese massage places and 1 Thai establishment in that small town.
Healing Hands Chinese and Sawasdee Thai are on the same street. Chinese Physio is closer to the railway station. Best massage is Thai or Physio; Healing Hands is a lot more raunchy.
I travel to York 3-4x per year, but tend to stay closer to Selby.
