This isn’t a review, as the booking wasn’t confirmed but more an experience.
I found myself near Coventry recently and set up a RB on AW a few days in advance. Kittie responded by emailing me directly and not via the RB box. She was well outside my bid age range, but she looked fit and was well reviewed so I thought I’d see what she was all about.
As is always the way with RBs I checked her services and posted prices. My bid was lower than her posted prices but then that’s the whole point of an RB isn’t it, pre-negotiation for mutual benefit. My first message to her in response was ‘so does this mean you accept my bid and all my requests?’ She said she did.
I let the bids continue and narrowed my selection down to two SPs, Kittie being one of them. She then messaged me on the day I was going up to ask if I had chosen yet and I took that as a positive sign that she was keen.
I settled into my hotel and we continued to message. She said what time she could arrive and I booked. Of course I changed the price that came up automatically to my bid offer. At no time in any of our messages had she questioned the price.
We had now moved to text and her first text said that I had put the wrong price in, I pointed out our messages and her first response when I asked if she was happy with my bid. I told her I had taken no comment on the price as acquiescence. She said she wasn’t coming for that price. My bid had been for two hours but was above her one hour rate, so I asked her to come for one hour. She was now, apparently, ‘busy’. It didn’t seem to make any sense that she now wouldn’t come for an hour at a price higher that her usual one, so I’m not sure quite what the game was.
The cynic in me thinks that she does this, relying on the client not noticing the auto price fill, and can then claim ‘well that’s what your booking says’.
In any event I have learned that in any similar cases my first message will be ‘so you’re happy with £xxx for 2 hrs and OWO, CIM etc.’ and not rely simply on ‘are you happy with my bid?
