Author Topic: AdultWork's pathetic feedback system  (Read 1967 times)

I'm relatively new to this, so can someone please confirm - it's entirely up to the 'service provider' to confirm if a booking took place, so if they messed a punter about or gave a shit time, all they need to do is refuse to confirm the booking took place to avoid negative feedback?

Also, it would appear that a woman can leave negative feedback for a punter WITHOUT confirming the booking took place, thus preventing any right of reply?

To tell my tale of woe: I booked a woman today, drove 50 miles over there. Parked in exactly the spot they said, called up as requested. Can't get through on my cheap punting phone - they are clearly in area with shit/non-existant signal coverage. I think 'well, I'm here now, fuck it', pick up my normal phone, call up. Straight to voicemail - possible that her the shit coverage affects her signal also? Anyway, I leave a voice mail, explain the situation, I'm there, tell me where to go etc. - I was admittedly 10 minutes late but offered to pay the full hour and leave after 50 mins, jesus I can't really do much more than that. I also drop her a text. Half an hour later and two calls to her later, I give up and leave.

When I get home, yes, there IS a voicemail on my cheap punting phone from her asking where I am - it's possible we were trying to call each other in this signal black spot at exactly the same time. At this point I have a) not had a punt and b) forked out 100 miles of petrol and 2 hours of driving for nothing. I politely respond to state I was there, I tried to contact her, looks like there were phone issues, I had nothing to apologise for as I've lost out but was very conciliatory.

An hour later I have my first negative feedback on AW, from her saying I never turned up or called, and of course my only 'right of reply' is disputing it on my own feedback profile. I genuinely think, considering all of her good feedback on AW and my 100% record, that this was just a case of two people trying to call each other in a signal black spot and neither getting through - but how is this my fault? I'm the one that drove down there and I doubt this is the first time this must've happened, if she knows she is in a poor phone area shouldn't she have some alternative ways of notifying punters how to find her?

What the fuck.

Welcome the world of punting my friend very sorry to hear this, my understanding is that if she does not confirm you can post something but it's limited, other members will put me right no doubt. However I'm pretty sure if she wants to the girl can have it removed and as you now know she can slate you as much as she likes.

On the rest of your post, up to you of course but never park where asked to, your setting yourself up for a break in there and never ever use your personal phone, if your married be wary over the next few days as she may not have got your message yet and could well call you if she's really pissed once she finds it.

My veiw is chalk it up to experience and move on, if you have little or no feedback ditch your profile and start another.

Thanks sir. Yeah it was breaking a golden rule of mine to grab my 'real' phone but I figured I didn't have much choice - hopefully she won't be that pissed (bless her), considering it's me that's lost time and money here and ultimately she's lost fuck all and this situation, as far as I'm concerned, is entirely her fault.

Hi mate sorry to hear this. It's a little tricky as she also tried to contact you, so she wasn't really a no show as such. In terms of feedback if she hasn't confirmed booking you cannot rate her as positive or negative but you can leave feedback if you have put in a booking request via AW. As above I'd chalk this one up to experience. Again I'd reiterate the importance of punting only phones. I'm not sure feedback can be removed after it's been left? You could leave her feedback and if she has rated you I think you may be able to respond accordingly. Don't rant though as you will make yourself look like a knob

What the fuck.

This is A/W feedback all over, stacked in the WGs favour when its punters that are paying, you couldnt make it up.

Sorry to read about this. I would of rang this WG from a phone box before leaving her area as a last ditch attempt to get her.

My advice is do a review on here on her as you have paid out fuel and had your time wasted and unless you have to, do what i do, only do business with WGs with phone numbers then no need to use the awful and in my view against punters interests A/W FB system. This FB system is a bad WGs and pimps dream, punters too scared to be honest and leave negative FB in case the WG gives the same back out of spite. These bad WGs/Pimps must be laughing their heads off at punters stupidity.

Yes, you are right. Fair isn't it

Wasn't a prossie in the Hitchin  or Letchworth area was it ? Exactly the same happened to me a few years back, it was when I was just starting out using AW and was under the misapprehension that the fb system was worth something. I reluctantly axed the profile and started a new one.

The number of positive fbs is meaningless, especially as it is so hard to leave anything to the contrary when the prossie expects it. Some just go off radar when it comes to the booking time, it is infuriating when you're geared up for a punt and the couple of times it has happened to me it has resulted in a vile mood for an hour or so.

Since you used your normal phone, if you have an OH it might be worth dropping a hint at a crank call or two over the last week - just in case you need an excuse.

Are there not profiles with the comments "feedback removed" for both service seeker and service provider? Hence possible that the
original poster may be able to get his false negative removed from his profile on awork?

Thanks for your feedback gents, to be honest I have a fair few very positive feedbacks and now just one negative (which I've disputed) so not that worried - fuckin annoying though!

Sorry to hear about this Jeff! You don't need an AW account to punt anyway, just call them. I think her leaving you negative feedback is poor form. I would dispute what she said.  :wackogirl:

The so called FAQ and help section just specifies removal of feedback due to "exceptional circumstances", but who defines
exceptional circumstances or criteria applied is somewhat ambiguous.

I'm relatively new to this

So.....just start a new adultwork profile. Clear the cookies from your browser, or even better install a new browser (crome, firefox, safari) specifically for punting/sex stuff and set up a new punting email (preferably the same username on email and adultwork). Start from scratch, pretend it didn't happen.

Personally, when I have a booking in, I send two texts (after speaking to the girl). The first text is a 'Just showered, and setting off to yours now, should be there at xx:xx' and the second is "Just parked outside now! Where am I heading to?" 5 min before the appointment. The first text also weeds out all the 'oh, can you give me 30 min to get ready?' girls.

Usually, the first text (as well as making the girl feel comfortable that I'm actually clean!) get a response with a house/flat to head for and sometimes the full address and details. And if there is any dodgy coverage, it will still get through.

If I'm running late, I stop and text them to let them know and when I'll be getting there. I think turning up 10 min late was probably your mistake, and you got the negative feedback there. 10min isn't a long time in a car, but it's a very long time to be standing in your underwear peering through a net curtain waiting for a stranger to turn up when half the guys just don't bother. At 5 min late, you'll get a message, at 10 min late she'll be back on the phone/internet setting up another appointment.

Chalk it up to experience, and move on!

What the fuck.

Similar thing happened to me on at least three/four occasions when I've travelled and they haven't then answered their phones to give the location number. Would never travel again in such circumstances.

Only difference as I have NEVER  booked through AWank's shitty system I have never received negative feedback.  :)

I never understand why punters feel the necessity to use it. If a prossy insists on only allowing booking through AW then fuck her and move on, there are plenty who don't. :)

My head hears you but my cock says `I want that one'.  The AW FB system does give you a right of reply, and some WGs attach importance to positive feedback and are scared of negative feedback which can work out in your favour.  If AW have done their job properly too (fat chance I know) then having a confirmed or scheduled booking ought to mean they can't double book you.

I think there are some things you and the escort can do before the meeting, and I always explain my self

Now I always ask by email for an address, as I use public transport, so I need to know where I'm going, roughly what area and street to head to

Most times its not a problem, I get good directions, and she likely to say, nearest street to my place is woodland road, Glasgow

Now I'm usually up in town a few hours before we my meet, so would text her: see you at 4pm, and she reply's: ok hun

so far I have never had any problem, think problem occur when you don't know the area or where you going

I agree with you but some guys just do what they are told.

When this girl first started out she insisted on bookings going through Adultwork, her rate was £80 an hour, as soon as she built up enough feedback her rates increased to £130 an hour.    :dash: :dash:

I don't think it hurts to have a few positives on the rating systems though. In the past I've booked girls on the phone and then if I've had a good time I've asked them if they'd like a review. Why not if I've had a good time and they've been professional. It helps their business - I did the same for a locksmith a while ago and all he did was fix my patio window! You can just agree to make a booking for the next day and the girl can then mark it as completed. If they forget then stuff 'em.

So.....just start a new adultwork profile.

Not sure that's the best advice. It's my understanding that this will be immediately listed on both profiles as you having an "alias", which is just as bad as having negative feedback. I don't think it matters using a different browser or clearing your cookies, the detection is based off of IP address.

Won't be based on IP address. That would get screwed immediately by dial-in users. In fact most ISPs these days don't do fixed IPs unless you ask for them or pay extra. Cookies or HTML5 data sound like the most likely.

Do a bad review for her here and she'll more than regret her pettiness.

Chrome & Firefox both allow private browser windows - ie a separate set of cookies so you could have 2 sessions logged in at once. Your PC name could be a giveaway though. IP - going to be shared with thousands of other people so not a very reliable way of identifying an individual.
