You jest, but with serious hat on - I don't think that's possible with me after years of threats and rude messages I've gotten as admin. I'm quite jaded and extremely cynical when any prossie contacts me wanting something. Many times I just read first line, delete message and ban account straightaway without reading further at the smallest hint of arrogant attitude.

I get plenty of threats and demands, some I share with NIK, but most of times I can't be bothered copying-and-pasting.

Maybe other site owners are so subservient to them that they presume I would be as well.

They probably follow the tried and tested approach that works elsewhere, threats and bullshit. I would imagine that many also think they automatically have the same right to reply as they do on other sites when they get negative comments, much like the standard responses on AW; 'we never met', 'he was dirty, smelly and aggressive' etc.

I suppose you had to get a nice one sometime. Either that or she is particularly cunning and thought that being nice would shock you into submission.

I agree, providing they have something constructive to say and as you say, are respectful.

When faced with a negative, I wonder if some come looking for the same system that I guess is on AW - an auto response where they can either deny a meeting took place (claim harassment) or claim the punter was a nutter of some kind.

You generally achieve more by being polite. In fairness if a punter or WG are identifiable in a review it's fair to remove such info IMO

I think it's reasonable to ask for identifying details to be removed - and reasonable to ask in a polite way and not expect it to be automatic.

As far as reviews - I see this as a reviewers website and how it is now is fine so maybe adding some comments, but not much, and certainly not gobbing off. The only thing I would add is maybe questioning a review if the reviewer has since been discredited and banned - if it was posted by a guy who was clearly a twat then maybe the review is BS. Not an automatic thing at all but a BS review doesn't help punters.
