Yeah, unfortunately I thought the best looking girl got voted off in the very first week  :dash:. It has the usual egotistical clueless backstabbing numpties but that's what I love about the show.

Read someone saying that the contestants  have " Bezos/Musk ambition  and Del Boy talent ".

:D  very true, Big ambitions, Big egos but very little talent. Pretty sure most of them sign up so they can have their five minutes of fame ( and that's how long most of them last)  :D strange how most of them claim to have multi million pound turnover businesses, yeah right . I always enjoy the final episode when the true business experts rip their business plans to shreds during the interviews.

Yeah me too  :dash:
I've looked at all the girls and they all appear to either have fucked up lips or done something to their mouth / teeth though i'm trying to work out if one has fucked them up or just has buck teeth

Usually takes me a while to get into it and for anyone to start shining though a few knob heads usually surface quite quickly

For me Marnie, Shannon (who quit) and Megan I'd go for

The mixed race girl on the right has a total doppelganger on the Brazilian massage scene in London. Enjoyed being fellated by her last year :yahoo:

I've punted a lot worse than this year's line up over the years but the top three candidates that would be "hired" be me for a punt this year would be

1. Rochelle Anthony (the chubby Geordie who according to news reports has a hair salon business that's £65k in the red  :sarcastic:)

Yeah I love the way some of the interviewers tear them another arsehole  :D
They all seem to get at least 1 interview that is hard for them so i'm sure the interviewers decide beforehand who is going to go hard on each contestant.

I know Stuart Baggs "The Brand" RIP came in for a lot of stick and he was a knob end on the show but I do know someone who had to deal with him from a business POV and he said he was actually alright to deal with if you stuck to facts

Think that’s an insult to Del Boy. He was sharp when it came to dodgy dealings and funny as fuck. The apprentice is full of vacuous, fame hungry, talentless, egotistical, back stabbing, cringe inducing cunts.  show is up there with one of the shows I hate most. Makes me angry just to hear it’s on tv. Unfortunately the enemy likes it.

I think she made some appearance in one of the lads mags back in the day, either nuts or zoo, a bit tame ,she was just wearing a bikini if my memory serves me correct.

Do you think it's time they replaced Lord Sugar with someone more relevant to today's world of business?

Perhaps a woman?

I think it's time they retired the show. It is a farce. Sugar reads the business ideas up-front and that dictates who goes, who stays and who wins. There's no business acumen demonstrated in a show where the half of the team designing and making the product are forbidden from speaking to the other half of the team selling it. I understand them not being given access to the internet, but not being able to speak to the rest of the team is laughable. Any business leader who set that up would be fired.

Dragons' Den equally naff now, just 5 wealthy people looking for a sure bet. There are no gambles there. They get to bail at the due diligence stage that follows anyway.

The show is not about business, it's about drama and advertising of existing brands. Some of these businesses that have been invested in recent times are laughably bad.

Not meant to be taking too seriously, just light entertainment. Highlight for me last week was the women being unable to multiply 45 by 400.

Yep as an employer I would expect any employee to be able to do such trivial mental maths, but equally I would insist that they check any maths with a calculator before committing to a deal. In this show they seem to be denied even pencil and paper and forced to do it in their heads no matter their fear of numbers. It's not just entertainment it is entertainment by ridicule having put someone in an artificial situation. That's quite a low form of entertainment.

I personally would have fired sub team leader Denisha for being awful at time management, leadership and execution but Lord Sugar was probably thinking she's better to look at than the other fella

The problem last night was Gregory went AWOL and didn't really do anything, it was said that he may as well have stayed at home which probably sealed his fate however there was another one who didn't seem to be on board or pulled in the other direction about the name as I recall  :unknown:

Gregory seemed a bit unusual perhaps but i was just starting to warm to him and thought he was a good speaker when he stepped up, quirky is probably a better description of him  :unknown:

It was Shazia Hussain who I thought pulled in the other direction, she was also the one who moaned after the event that the cartoon wasn't diverse enough and it should have been an Indian woman featured.
OK it could have been but they only had 25 seconds for the cartoon so you can't fit much in, could have picked from 1000's of different "Diverse" scenarios or characters  :unknown:

The "Your fired" after show wound me up the way the team was slated for depicting someone in a wheelchair, think it was slated for someone helping the girl in the wheelchair but apparently to be inclusive it should have depicted her helping the able bodied person.
Those criticising for the sake of it are ignoring the time pressures the team are under to deliver this stuff  :dash:

It was slated for highlighting that the girl in the wheelchair was unable to use the slide, so had to make do with something less enjoyable, and was only able to do that if helped by someone else.

I think both cartoons were abysmal, brimful of wokeness (diversity and inclusively ( a female giraffe,  with an Indian name?) 2 -4 year old aren't interested in whether it fits the woke agenda,  just whether  it's funny for a few moments.

Yeah but it's par for the course these days, if they want to push the boundaries how about portraying a middle aged man in a positive light seeing as they have all been marginalised and cancelled  :unknown:

Offline Bangman

I agree. BOTH cartoons were Terrible. The loosing team were worse. Me and my son were screaming at the TV at how awful their ideas were, we had better ideas. This was a easy task.

So far.. I can't stand Nazia, she's so irritating. Denisha is Rubbish.

So far no one looks promising.. I thought the
Guy fired this week has potential but op rightly said, he went awol on this week's episode

I am sure that she would have got the push before now, had she been on a losing team.  She seemed very disruptive.  Notable that almost everybody in the "Your Fired" audience agreed with her being fired.

I have just got bored with the whole format, they seem to deliberately pick the most loud mouthed, self deluded people they can find.
But it's not business, it's a tv show, last week I just fast forwarded to the boardroom part and it was more enjoyable at 20 minutes long

+1 it needs a refresh.

Maybe a woman to replace Alan Sugar.

New challenges instead of the same format each year. The same mistakes get made each year.  They could probably do more digital marketing or events now.
