I have recently returned from Prague, first visit since covid, and thought I would make a few observations.

A lot less tourists about than I recall pre-covid.  Maybe because many visitors at this time of year tend to be older people, who are no longer travelling like they used to pre-covid?  Cost of living crisis, etc.

Many restaurants still closed, or offering a much reduced service.  For example, my hotel restaurant now only doing breakfast.  The beer garden in Vyshrad was closed when I went there (don’t know if that was temporary or permanent).  Walking up Neruda St to the castle, many closed, those that were open were quiet.

For those who visited Prague pre-covid, and held onto their Czech cash for their next visit, beware that they have introduced new bank notes.  The new notes look almost identical to the old ones – the main difference is that the new ones have a much wider metallic strip.  The old ones are now officially not valid, so self-service tills etc won’t accept them, but the banks are still accepting the old notes, and so are most restaurants, shops, etc.  However, banks will stop accepting them from mid next year, so I expect businesses will begin declining them before then.  I had no trouble changing my notes in the local bank close to my hotel.

I had planned to visit Prague last year, but had to abandon.  I was taken aback at how few girls were actively advertising then.  Things have improved this year, but certainly nowhere near the numbers working pre-covid.

I will do some more detailed notes of my exploits when I get more time.

As some background, I have been visiting Prague for over 20 years now.  I did the astronomical clock, Charles Bridge, etc. on my first visit, and don’t see any need to revisit.  Likewise I got “done” by the clubs early on, and their astronomical prices, so don’t intend to revisit them either.  Showpark isn’t really my thing, as I found the encounters to be a bit soul-less (a bit like the Red Light district in Amsterdam, albeit with better looking girls).

These days I tend to concentrate on the independents, both privats and masseuses, and keep the brothels and parlours as back-up.  The indies tend to be older than the club and parlour girls, but more than make up for it with their service.  Unfortunately most of the indies that I saw pre-covid no longer seem to be working, so it was necessary to find some new.

Sex.cz and its clones give a very misleading view of what is on offer – all that hot totty supposedly waiting for you.  However, you can waste a LOT of time phoning numbers that don’t answer, the girl isn’t working, etc.  In the past, I have used annonce (the on-line version of the small-ad paper) to see who is actually working.  Unfortunately, advertisers can now pay to bump their ads up the list, so the ads are no longer in date order.  However, the related agama site still lists the ads in date/time order, making it easy for you to see who is advertising that day, and therefore likely to be working.

Having found someone you fancy, a google search on the phone number is essential, especially to see if there are any reviews on tapky, svetaci or nornic.   Note that when using tapky, and clicking on one of the reviews, you may get a page saying that the review is on an external server; you may have to click on the link on that page multiple times before you finally get to the review.

Another reason to search on the phone number is to see if the girl is genuinely indie, or if the ad is a front for a club or parlour.   And you will likely see other places she is advertising, and from them gain much more info about the services she offers, whether she speaks English, etc.
 
In my experience, using these basic checks usually gives a fairly good hit rate.  I will give further details of who I saw later.

It is rare to get anything more than a HJ in a massage parlour, and I thought it might be interesting to see if anything more might be offered on an outcall.  So feeling the horn one morning, I decided to give them a try.  I picked a girl who the roster claimed was on from 9am, and went through the on-line booking process.  It showed her as free all day.  My spidey senses told me this couldn’t be right, so I sent an SMS asking if she was free at 10am.  No response.  So I called, and was told that she didn’t actually start work until 1030, but the receptionist would try and contact her.  The receptionist eventually phoned back to say that the earliest they could get anyone to me was 1200, and it wouldn’t be the girl I had requested.  Sod that.  So much for getting a girl to me within 20 minutes! 

Quick phone call to Paty, and I was on the tram to Hostivar, where I had a decent massage and guaranteed FS.

I prefer to use indies, and keep the brothels and parlours as backup.  The problem with indies, is that most tend to finish by about 8pm, if not earlier.  Whereas many of the bigger brothels claim to be open NON-STOP 24/7.  Pre-covid I never had any problem getting an evening appointment for 9 or 10pm.

So feeling the urge one evening, I decided to visit one of these brothel privats.  However, whereas most still claim to be open non-stop, or until the wee hours, the reality these days appears to be very different.  Looking at the rosters in the web-sites of the likes of Privat Grace, SexNo.1, etc, most of the girls were finishing at 8 or 9pm!  Hardly much better than the indies.  Fortunately, Top Privat had three girls on until 11pm, and a quick phone call had me a booking for 10pm.  So far, so good.  However, when I was well on my way, they phoned again to say that they were closing, and I shouldn’t come!  Perhaps I could come tomorrow instead?  Sod that. 

Back to the hotel, and I had a look to see where else might be open.  Iveta and SexySelmicky appeared to be, but I wasn’t that desperate (check their reviews on svetaci).

Man-Spa
I did find a place called Man-Spa, that looked promising, so I sent a text to one of their numbers.  There then followed an increasingly irate exchange, as it turned out it was now someone’s private number.  So I texted their other number, enquiring if they were Man Spa.  About an hour later, I got a reply asking if I were still coming.  But I had given up by then.  Fortunately, as it turns out that they are the infamous Manhatten Privat rebranded (again, check their reviews on svetaci).  So I dodged a bullet there.

Marie drained my blue balls for me the following morning, at much less cost.

TBH, I am not really the person to ask.  I enjoy an erotic massage from an attractive bird, but to end in just a HJ is a bit of a downer to me.  Especially when you know that you could be getting full service for less.

As I have said previously, with the massage parlours you are highly unlikely to get anything more than a HJ, although some are now offering kissing as an extra (but I have my doubts as to how many masseuses actually offer it).  If you go to one of the big privats, such as Top Privat, you will pay about the same for FS, but unlikely that the girl will be a skilled masseuse.  For the best value, and for a skilled masseuse who offers more than a HJ to finish, you need to be looking at the indie masseuses.  Plenty who make it pretty obvious that they are offering more than a massage.  However, if you are specifically after a 4 hander, that does probably mean emptying your wallet in one of the parlours.  But I would still recommend doing a bit of research first to see if you can get a 4 hander from two Indies who work together.

An update on my recent-ish visit to Prague.  Unfortunately a couple of my regulars were not working that week, so I had a few tries elsewhere with the help of reviews on svetaci and tapky.

Despite advertising itself as a massage place, this seems to be a privat with FS on offer.  Located in P10 Bohdalec, a stiff uphill walk from the nearest tram stop.  A very quiet and up-market residential area, with plush villa-type properties.  The privat itself is in one of these villas, and is the plushest brothel I can remember anywhere.  The place has a massive entrance hall, with a Hollywood-style circular staircase around it, leading up to the bedrooms.  It is completely anonymous: you press the unmarked bell at the gate, and someone will come out to let you in.

The girl I saw was only working there temporarily, so I see no point in reviewing her.  I paid 2.000 Cz for an hour, plus an extra 500 for OWO and FK.  After I had showered, we stood snogging and groping, moving to the bed for passionate sex in various positions.  Two pops in the hour, plus an excellent wind-down massage, and shower to go.

I had a very enjoyable time, and hope to revisit on my next trip.  While I was waiting to leave, I spotted a pneumatic blonde cross the landing stark-naked, who I wouldn’t mind seeing.

They are a bit coy about where they are based, but from svetaci, I got the impression that they are based in P3 Zizkov.  However, for my first visit I was directed to P2 Jecna, an apartment block just a few paces from a tram stop on one of the major tram arteries.  Having found the building with no trouble, I was directed to the apartment, off a small interior courtyard.  A large and surprisingly spacious apartment, and I think the girl was working alone there.

Again, the young busty blonde that I saw is no longer on their web-site, so I won’t review.  I paid 2,200 Cz for the hour, plus 500 for OWO and FK.  Another passionate encounter, that I wish I had repeated.

Unfortunately, my desire for something different led me to making a booking with Asian Kim, again from Lovely Girls.  Kim was based in P3 Zizkov, about a ten minute walk from the nearest tram stop, in a new-build apartment, with further blocks under construction.  I had a bit of trouble finding the address, and they Whatsapp’d me a photo with an arrow showing where to go, so I don’t think I am the only one to have had difficulty.  It was another large apartment.  I was led into what was evidently intended to be the main open-plan living room and kitchen.  They had put up a curtain to hide the kitchen/dining area, and put a bed in the living area, which is where the action took place.  I presume that the bedrooms were being used by other girls.
