I am visiting Prague in April. I was there a couple of years ago and visited Neon Club and Showpark. Any other recommendations or are these the main two?

They’re two of the bigger ones. Showpark let you buy a 99 CZK one time only entry on your phone which is better value than the 24 hour ticket. You now need to enter Showpark from a side entry point (RockOpera). Showpark DaVinci hasn’t been open since the pandemic started, no idea if it will ever reopen. There’s also AAA Exclusive Club which is a little bit out of the way. Photos look good on their website but there was no one who I liked the look of. Sweet Paradise was a similar story. Night Gym which was sleazy as fuck next to Karlovy Lazne hasn’t reopened either. Top Privat is a good, fairly central Privat where you can get three 10 minute sessions back to back with girls the house picks. I’ve wrote about it before. I’ve also been to this Privat fairly recently near Krizikova. I met the girl in the red pvc (I requested she wore it and she looked smoking in it). I can’t even remember the price but it wasn’t too expensive and was easy to arrange on WhatsApp. Said she was from China. Setup was a bit strange, it was kind of in an annex of a restaurant. Room had a shower in it but wasn’t a bedroom. There was another girl hovering about at the end and she was pretty and pleasant enough. External Link/Members Only

Should have added, there’s a Sauna Club on Wenceslas Square. You can ask to see inside before paying your money. I looked in once and there were a few hot Romanians in there. I went to go and get money then thought better of it.

Across the road is Darling Cabaret. Some girls in there will offer full service in there but they will want 4000 CZK and a tip at the end. Try to get them down to 3000 CZK especially if it’s a slow or quiet night. There can be some seriously hot women in there.

Final points, use Uber, don’t hail taxis. Use the PID Lítačka app to buy public transport day passes. Use the cash machines at Raiffessen Banks (black and yellow). The rest all charge you now, and they let you select the note denominations you get as well.

I feel obliged to report that punting standards in Prague have fallen... like a lot.

The punting bible tapky.info has been bought out by someone running massage parlors and no longer collates reviews for brothels or indie escorts and whatever reviews left are most likely paid for.

svetaci.info - the source of most of the actual reviews still works but has no index and search functions are limited. Plug in google translator and you're basically wasting time. From what I gathered on there, local punters agree that most good brothels have closed down and those that remain have a poor selection of girls, while other brothels simply lure clients on fake pictures and advertize WGs as 10-15 younger.

Indies, especially the truly young ones have moved onto SA, tinder and local variants thereof. Furthermore, I've confirmed this with WG's that some brothels' standards have dropped because young guys don't seek out this kind of entertainment any more. Most young / pretty WG's in Prague currently are from Ukraine. Their influx has basically saved the day.

This one is a bit of a russian roulette. Comms only via texting on WhatsApp. I've seen multiple girls from this establishment over the years. Some have been real jewels, some a complete flop. It's a brothel but I don't like the premises so I usually order escorts to my hotel. 2h was about 200-250 GBP. Obviously, you have to pay in cash in local currency. The most recent girl I met thru them was clearly a chinese student 'traveling' Europe on a Schengen visa. It was real GFE with a tiny & cute nerdy looking girl next door. This girl I didn't manage to get to but I definitely plan on seeing her next time. When I was in Prague she only worked one day that week and when I called she was already fully booked. She has some positive reviews on svetaci.info so seems to be the real deal. Otherwise, I visited this brothel several times 5-10 years ago. It's quite old when it comes to furnishings, but one of the last places where you won't get ripped off - i.e. they don't retouch pics as heavily as other places do.

BTW, like in the UK, indie escorting in the Czech Republic is legal whereas brothels & street walkers are not. I'm told the only legislation that regulates prostitution in CZ is like 80 years old so cops basically turn a blind eye on it. Unless of course exploitation or violence is involved. But I've not heard of any brothels being raided just because.

I am only there for 3 nights before going to Krakow. On a bit of a budget for punting so ideally don’t want to blow a lot in Showpark like I did last time. She was a FAF Colombian who I couldn’t refuse after a few drinks but I was certainly rushed and didn’t get my full time.

Neonclub was quite a fun place to have a few beers around scantily clad women. They come and talk to you but if you say no they leave you alone. There were a couple of girls who were really fit who I may give into this time.

It is dead easy to get PAYGO sims once you get to Prague.  Plenty of stalls/shops in the shopping centres run by the local mobile operators, and also some in the airport.  But I gave up using a local sim years back.  Most privates that accept tourists will accept calls from overseas sims these days.  If they won't accept a call from a UK sim, it is highly likely that they will hang up on you if you use a local sim as soon as you start talking English.   Unless you speak Czech, I don't see any point in using a local sim these days, when call rates are the same.

I have always changed notes before I get there, and before I get anywhere near an airport.  Wherever you go, unless you want to pay tourist rates, it is best to avoid exchanges aimed at tourists or those who have left it to the last minute.

And get yourself a 1/2/3 day metro card before you leave the airport, either using notes at the dispensers before you go through customs, at the dpp stalls in the airport, or from the machines at the bus stand.  Public transport is dead easy to use in Prague, provided you have done some basic research.  Most ticket dispensers have an "English" button, for example.

Yea I visited Neon Club last time but didn’t punt. The prices they were asking for were not worth it when they told me no OWO or kissing. I still found it a decent place for a few beers though. It is free entry and surrounded by decent looking women.

I will probably go for the Privats. They seem the best value. I want to find a hot Ukrainian or Russian girl but they also seem to be Czech. Not necessarily a bad thing.

My only advice for a first time is make sure your hotel is in the Prague 1 district. My first time I was a short walk from the old town. My next visit I am staying in Mala Strana just across from Charles Bridge.

Looking forward to getting back. Probably my favourite City in Europe.

I drank in a couple of pubs but I can’t remember much about them to be honest. My trip was mainly doing the tourist stuff during the day and places like Showpark and Neon Club at night.

I did a mixture of both last time. The girls were definitely hotter in Showpark than Neon Club. I remember a stunning blonde wanting me to go with her saying that she had some cocaine🤣. My advice would be the exact opposite!  I have always stayed out of town centre.  Like London, you don't have to go that far out of the centre to get significantly lower rates.  The other advantage is that the local bars and restaurants will be the ones that the locals use, so much better value and quality than those aimed at ripping off tourists.  Staying in Prague 1 is like staying in Chelsea in London.

And like London, the public transport network is so good that you can easily get to and from the centre.  Except in Prague, the trams are the main form of transport, with a network that makes the London underground look tiny.

While you can walk around Prague, like London it is big enough to be inconvenient.  As previously noted, get yourself a three day pass on public transport, and once you have validated it on your first trip, you can just hop on any tram, metro or bus at any time.  The trams run through the night.

In Prague, the sex trade is not as underground as it is in the UK.  There is no need to hide it behind euphemisms such as "massage" or "escort", it is much more open.  With more regular opening hours.

I can understand your point but for a first visit I like to be where the main sights are in a City. In London there is no main centre like most major cities. All of the main attractions are spread all over the place. In Prague you could probably walk everywhere if you only wanted to see the bucket list stuff.

I have 3 nights like you. First night I land in Prague at 8pm, third night I am watching football. So only really the second evening to have a punt at a Privat or independent. I’m not really keen on punting during the day.

I done a lot of the main tourist stuff the first time but still have stuff I want to do. A beer and history tour sounds like a good idea. If you are into Soviet Era history the communism museum is good.

Beware that a lot of things like OWO, CIM, kissing, etc. that are usually included in England are almost invariably charged extra in Prague.  Rates used to be pretty well advertised on the annonce site, but are less so nowadays (a sign that rates are rising).  Last year I generally paid 1500 or 2000 Cz an hour, plus 500 for extras, but then I steered clear of places like Topprivat, that are aimed at tourists and charge accordingly.

In my experience, there is very little bait and switch in Prague - it will usually be the girl in the pictures.  How long ago those pictures were taken is another matter.  There is at least one tourist-trap establishment still using some of the same pictures back from when I first started visiting Prague a decade or more ago.  As usual, if it looks too good to be true.......

The trouble with the tourist-oriented establishments is that they know most of their clientele is never going to come back.  And most of their clientele have spent the day drinking before they get there (I suspect one of the reasons many of the privats close early).  If you are lucky enough to get a stunner, it will likely be a stunner who is fed up with servicing drunk, boorish foreigners.

Can't help with airbnbs as I prefer the facilities a hotel offers.

When I first stayed in Prague, I used the Corinthia Towers in Vysehrad, and the Panorama in Pankrac.  Both adjacent to metro stations, so a hop and skip into the centre of town.  More recently I was using a small hotel in Albertov, but it closed down.  Last year, I stayed in the Ibis in Andel, right next to the shopping centre, on a major tram intersection, and with a metro station not far away, so easy to get anywhere.  And with plenty of bars and restaurants popular with locals close by too.

Unfortunately the pound is worth nowhere near what it was when I first started visiting Prague, meaning that Prague is no longer the bargain that it once was for Brits.  However, if you avoid the tourist rip-offs, it is still possible to get decent value.  As I said previously, I was paying 2000 Cz per hour all-in (equivalent to about £75) last year.  Beware that if you pay in £ or euro, you are likely to get ripped off.

I get your point. When I punt in this country it is nearly always in the early afternoon so the girl is not jaded. But the few times I have abroad it has been in the evening because I like doing tourist stuff and sightseeing during the day.

Very few annonce ads make any mention of WhatsApp, so I assume it is not that widely used.  But there again, in my experience, it is not that widely used by WGs in the UK either.

You don't need a Czech phone to ring a Czech number!  Provided that you have international roaming enabled on your UK mobile, you should be able to ring Czech numbers.  Of course, the girl will see that you are calling from a UK number.  If she doesn't accept English customers (such as because she doesn't speak English), then she probably won't answer.

Back when I used a Czech SIM card, it was quite common for me to be abruptly cut off because I spoke English.  If they speak English, they will usually say so on their sex.cz or annonce ad.  If they don't say so, then it is likely they don't speak it.  And there are a significant number, if not the majority, of ads in annonce don't list English.

 I get the impression that for some time German was the preferred second language, rather than English.  So while most young Czechs speak English, above a "certain age" it is far less common.  There were also the Russian, Ukrainian, etc girls, who had basic Czech but no English, but I doubt there are many Russian girls there at present.
