External Link/Members OnlyFirst punting attempt this year, had her on my hot list for a while and her light was on so I got excited. Sent a message through, she replied about an hour later asking me to call her to book. I rang and agreed a time, she sent me the address as expected. So far so good. I drove over pretty much straight away as it takes about an hour and half to get to Liverpool from where I am.
Arrived 5 minutes before the agreed time and parked up in the NCP as she was in the city centre with double yellow lines pretty much everywhere. Text her to say I’ve parked up and walked over to the building. Waited for a few minutes, messaged her to ask for the flat number to buzz and then rang her phone a few times but still no response from her side. We’re now 15 minutes after the agreed time and I’m stood outside the building by the keypad like a knob waiting for her to reply. Tried calling a few times again but still radio silence. The place is not the most discreet and you really stand out when you’re hovering around the building like that. After calling her a few times and messaging (we’re now 30 minutes in, I decided to sack it and head back).
As I’m walking back to the car she messages me saying sorry she’s been on the phone (probably a lie as her phone was ringing and not going to voicemail). I text her and ask if I should come back in 15 minutes or just cancel but got no response. I waited a little longer and then decided to just write her off and leave after waiting another 15 minutes.
Clearly she was either double booked or was never in the location. Either way she wasted my time, I drove all the way and paid for parking all for nothing.
