My first massage shop review so let me know if I miss anything out.

Visited Believe Spa during my lunch break, paid the receptionist £40 for a 30 minute deep tissue massage. Was taken to one of the treatment rooms.

I removed my clothes down to my underwear, a knock at the door and a middle aged attractive Chinese lady entered. She said  hello then said I can remove my pants, so I did.

She asked if I wanted a hard or medium massage, I said hard. She proceeded to give me a really good massage, whole back arms, eventually working her way to my buttocks and legs.

I knew something was on the cards as her hands were massaging very close to my cock. She asked me to turn over, she asked if I wanted her to massage my cock, I asked how much she said £50, but I said I only had £40.

She applied a decent amount of oil to her hands and proceeded to give me an amazing hand job/cock massage, with loads of eye contact throughout. I had an excellent shuddering orgasm, she cleaned up the mess and gave me a hot towel wipe down, I declined a shower.

NEVER just tell the girl, whether masseuse or escort, how much money you've got until it's clear what services are on offer.  40 was at least 10 more than you should've paid in an inflated market for a basic handjob, regardless of how well she did it.

If you've never been to a place before then if the quote is high just tell them that's too much compared to elsewhere and ask them to just finish the massage.  20 for a wank is still reasonable, 30 can get topless, 40 still gets b2b (and RO even FS) if business slow and 50 should lock it in, 60 more common FS price point but beyond that you're well over the odds and should be booking an escort instead for after the massage, especially if the massage wasn't great. 

Given most door prices are 50+ now for the hour (30-35 for 30mins before possible discount for regulars) that's even more reason to hold back on the cost of extras, if they bitch about being turned down tell them you already paid too much to get in.
Also bear in mind that most masseuses aren't as good looking and are (much) older than FS providers who are taking 60-80 for 30 mins of sex in a bed.  Also the masseuse is often offering extras after halfway of the session you paid for (particularly not worth it if only 30 min booking unless you know you'll get 30+ mins in an hour booking for same on return).

Never over-play your hand or over-declare your need for extras, especially with an unknown masseuse (in an untried establishment) who isn't cooing, courting and teasing with her touches before the offer.  Tease her back with a little movement in response if she's trying. 
Never show her how much you've got, always split out and separate your budget for the extras (max 60 in mix of 10s and 20s) into a different more convenient pocket.  Ideally just another 10-20 in another pocket and if you are carrying more then that should be under  button or zip well out of sight and mind.

I’d echo what LLP said. Also the 30 for relaxing massage vs 40 for deep tissue is a total con in my experience. The actual girl doesnt usually even know which you chose and will just ask you what you want. Well executed deep tissue massages are rare in these shops in my experience.

Excellent post from LLP and I do hope the OP accepts it in the constructive spirit it was intended.

Getting extras at massage places can be a minefield especially if you're not sure what the "going rate" is or you're too shy/polite to haggle a bit, and that's something I've fallen foul of myself in the past.

These massage ladies will generally high-ball their services in the expectation of being brought down to something more reasonable. At the end of the day compare the total they're asking you to part with, to how much you'd spend to see an escort for the same duration, and if the prices are comparable then it's almost certainly too much.

Chalk it up as experience OP and hopefully you'll be rebranding yourself AssertivePunter52 before long
