Either book a room for two (most hotels just charge for the room not number of occupants) or meet the girl at the lifts if it has key cards for lifts.

Motel One, Ibis, YOTEL & I think Mercure. Not had any issues with either of these.

I have a friend who works in the hotel business. They know what goes on and as long as no dramas they won't bother.

Dunno about the one in Edinblurgh, but the yotel in glesga needs a card for the lift. Having said that, as EGD says, as long as you’re fairly quiet and discreet the staff in any big chain hotel dgaf what you do.  (Although I’d not book yotel anyway coz they’re shitey wee boxes)

You can also enter from a door along from the reception direct to the ifts avoiding the reception all together. It has now changed the name to Leonadrdo or something similar.

Like othere have said I don't think that they bother too much. I know Jury's is used by touring escorts so you should be ok with just one visitor.

Used it many times for meets set up from Seeking Arrangement as it’s very discreet as the above post says. Only problem can be parking although the Waverly station car park is close.
