I find my attitude to pricing probably at odds with economic facts.

With the average 30 minute punt costing £40 in the early 90's (when I started punting), according to the Bank of England inflation calculator, that is worth £90 today.

And yet I feel £80 is somehow more representative of 'good value', and tend to turn away from the £100 half hour adverts. I reckon anything advertised at £60 is unlikely to satisfy and being a one-pop punter, I've never felt the need to pay for a whole hour.

I do pay a bit more for someone with 100% good reviews and have never been let down, and I wonder if that is a safer bet?

Anyone else a bit stingy when searching for a punt?

This is an interesting topic. I'm more of an hour punter as I need time to recover between pops. However, I was extremely active in 1994 and the average for an outcall to a hotel was £125 and using the aforementioned calculator it comes in at £240.96. I'll use this tool from now to see if I'm actually getting VFM, cheers!

Realised when checking there that I haven't punted at all in 2022 due to a number of reasons, but one of them is unfortunately the price increase of punts.

Personal circumstances I guess everyone is different but with everything getting more expensive I just haven't had the spare cash to throw £100 at a half hour punt. Quite happy with just one pop so an hour isn't something I really consider.
Standard was around £80 that you mention early last year but guess with everything else increasing can I really complain about the inflation? Probably not.

Still enjoy the reviews and the site but find myself looking at cheaper options when considering, or need to look unbelievable/have very positive reviews to consider the £100. When really that's just bog standard it seems.

I'm new to punting this year.  I think a lot of this comes down to what you want.  For me, top of the agenda is looking for someone I can have a really good time with.  I'm a one-time popper as well and for me top of the agenda is a really good GFE.  I look for a damm good snog, a good bit of foreplay and a girl that likes to receive as well as give.  I like someone that greets me with a smile and I have found in my limited 11 months experience, approx 25 punts, that I can only get that from someone with good reviews, 60 mins and can converse well in English.

In the few 30 min punts I've had I find they just expect you to get in, pop, and get out.  On a few occasions I've just gone out looking for a quick shag and hoping for a good blowjob but for the most part I want to have a good GFE, so I expect to pay 160-200 for a memorable 60 mins.

When I arrive I go in with the mindset that I am in for 30 mins, but within that first 60 secs I decide whether to go for an hour or not.

I'd say that in the vast majority of cases, you get what you pay for.

The one time I visited an Edinburgh sauna I booked the WG on the phone, when I entered I paid, had a shower and went to the room with the WG.

i usually pre book, but even then if you arrive early, you can sit in the lounge if you wish, its quite educational, you see your fellow punters, and chat to the girls, some guys spend hours in the lounge, the girls rightly detest this behaviour.
