I've been thinking, for all the guys that have done decently long streaks on no fap and semen retention, haven't you overcome the feeling of lust, and therefore the need to see WGs? The intent of doing something like this is different for everyone, but a big part is to remove addictions/ vices, for which being compelled to punt simply because of your primal desire is one, and secondly, to desexualise the mind. Just curious to see the different perspectives out there on if then seeing WGs defeats the purpose of identifying as a non fapper, and ultimately if people will actually want to stop seeing SPs as the next eventuality along with quitting porn etc.
I'm not as dogmatic or puritanical as some, but I would say I've settled into a lifestyle where I spend very little time actively watching hardcore porn (as opposed to sexy or sexualised imagery - that's widespread and unavoidable) or masturbating. For me the motivation was to try to have better sex, and cutting back on porn and wanking was my way of trying to resensitise myself to the pleasures of actual, real-life women as opposed to the choreographed, edited, airbrushed, and increasingly AI depictions you can see onscreen at the click of a button. I was also conscious of "death grip", which is to say training my dick to respond to novel or vigorous stimulation that's very difficult to recreate with actual penis-in-vagina sex.
So, to summarise, I'm working on the logic that it's a detox, or reset of sorts, in the same way that when you cut excess salt and sugar out of your diet you start appreciating the actual flavour of normal food. I also felt on some level that (literally) spunking away several hours a week on what is essentially voyeurism must be a bit bad for the soul. Surely we all have bigger, better things to do with our time than watch guys with bigger dicks than us, fuck beautiful women?
I've heard of guys taking nofap to an extreme, on the logic that more is more. To the point that they'll willingly stop pursuing sexual or romantic relationships, or turn down sex with their partners because they don't want to break their streak, or whatever. To me, that's missing the forest for the trees!
To answer your question then, no, my wanking habits haven't really affected my punting frequency one way or another. I'm not so sexually frustrated that I punt more, and I'm not so invested in the nofap lifestyle that I punt less. The limiting factors in my punting are, and always have been, time and money - if both were unlimited I imagine I would punt a few times a week.
