Author Topic: Spedra ED med - never heard of it - any info?  (Read 3193 times)

Hi Chaps,

Just checked the bedside draw and realised I was low (very low) on sildenafil. I logged on to Lloyds Pharmacy to see a new message about the availability of "spedra", a new ED med - I've never heard of it, but will read up on it now - in the meantime, does anyone know what this is or have any other information?

thanks

Search for the forums on it. Its recently patented this year. You can buy tablets up to 200mg which is the equivalent of 100mg of Sildinifil.

Its benefits are - from what I have read as I have never taken it.

1. Its quickest to work, and quickest to stop working - so great for punting
2. You do not get the blue vision tint issue that sildinifil gives
3. It does not get affected by meals like ther other drugs do.

It just allows you to be more 'spontaneous'. Whereas for Viagra you have to wait about an hour for the effect to take place, this stuff brings it down to 30 mins, sometimes 15 for a lazy lob. It's almost like a redelivered Viagra, quicker to work, lasts as long, whereas Cialis has a longer lasting potency period, think 12 hours rather than 4 for Viagra.

It can be affected by a large meal though, like any ED drug. Oh and keep off the booze too

thanks for the reponses - should have done a search first - doh! - doing that now. I'd be over the moon to find an ED med that doesn't cause facial flushing. Will have a look to see what comments have been made here already

couldn't find very many comments here about Spedra and no comments about facial flushing which is my main concern. I get a stuffy nose from sildenafil which doesn't bother me, but the facial flushing can be quite embarrassing - I try to take the lowest possible dose I can as a result. I don't need ED meds in my personal life, but sometimes need them when punting. I going to order some Spedra and will feedback results here.

See my mini field test of Spedra below.

Spedra field test result (Taken from my last review so you don't need to read the rest of my ramblings)

Spedra - Positive
Followed the instructions to the letter, took approx 20 minutes before & had eaten normally during the day.
A small hot flush
No headache (didn't take any paracetamol as not to skew the test)
No indigestion (i get this with viagra)

Would i use again - Yes (as I've got 3 left)
Would Spedra replace my default ED med Cialis - No as i like the longevity & zero side effects of Cialis however expensive it is.

Why did it differ from my other ED meds? - Tanya gave me a good riding & the little soldier stood to attention for the whole session, i suffer from latex limp & for penetration to last that long is very rare indeed.
Im putting it down to the Spedra but it could have been the sight of a 21 year olds arse bouncing up & down on my cock?

if you dont have ED and take it, will it reduce the time of refraction (time between sun dial salutes)? Might give it a go for a pse, though other sport supplements can do similar. Might be worth a road test for fun.  Are the google result online pharmacies with online doc consultations for prescription ok to use for this?

I've used it. Excellent stuff.

Quick to act as noted above.

And while I never got a headache with Viagra - this stuff certainly did not have any side effects.

I also agree with the remarks above about Cialis - much better if you need to keep going for a longer period of time. But spedra has its place for spontaneity.

I get both from Lloyds pharmacy. Not cheap but discrete.

does one just go in and ask for it, get a consultation on the side where one says one cant get wood, then get it on prescription? or how does one get it in the [pharmacy?

Easiest for me was to.......

- Join Lloyds on line Dr
- Fill in questionnaire (wait for ok to proceed, same day)
- Order Tablets for collection (pay online)
- Pick up at local Lloyds pharmacy (same day)

They are a bit expense for some but it suits me fine.

And as mentioned on another thread, you get a £10 discount if you put in the promo code 1875ad1. I saw it (the code that is) advertised in a gents loo at a motorway service station but the other OP saw it in a magazine.
It works.

If you have a private prescription can I recommend : External Link/Members Only.

It's a NHS registered Pharmacy, freepost to send presciption to, free delivery and 8x20mg Cialis is a very reasonable £53.90. Weirdly I used to live around the corner from it years ago, but never actually used it, only many years later when looking for cost-effective real Cialis. Been using them for 3 years now and from order to delivery normally takes 3-4 days and that includes the time to send them the prescription.

well, I suppose if you are prone to getting facial flushing from ED meds, then all available ED meds will cause it...  Spedra is very, very quick acting, I flushed in the taxi... maybe 15 minutes after taking half a 100mg pill. However, I also found it quite short lasting. Levitra continues as the best confidence booster for me. The last ones I got where tiny and difficult to split. I'd be happy to hear if anyone knows of inexpensive, or easy to split Levitra

How short lasting did you find it? On the Lloyds Pharmacy site it says four to five hours, similar to Viagra.

A couple of hours. I haven't exactly conducted a scientific experiment, but I think the effectiveness of Spedra is reduced by alcohol intake much more than sildenafil - which for me works well even after quite a few beers...
