Over the past few months I have found myself staying in Manchester, fairly close to Chinatown, so decided to have a stroll around and pop in to a Thai massage place for some relaxation. I chose Pippa's (December 2014 I think) because there was a handwritten sign on the door saying £30 for one hour. Walked in and up the stairs to the "Office" and was then taken to one of the massage rooms by one of the ladies. The rooms are basic - very basic - and no showers were offered. But, it was cheap.

First visit: A woman in her 40s called On. Very chatty and personable. Very good massage skills. Offered HE for an extra £20 which I accepted. Positives - £50 for a decent massage and HE. Allows touching through clothes; Negatives - no showers and the rooms are a bit on the shabby side.

Second Visit: Largely the same as before but with a different woman whose name escapes me. Slightly older woman but excellent massage and a very HE. An hour well spent.

Third visit (Feb 2015): Price had risen to its normal £35/hour. Much younger woman who did not seem interested at all. Massage was shit. Conversation was shit. She had no interest whatsoever. After 30 minutes she pointed at my dick and said " do you want me to do that?" I declined and left early.

Edit: Don't be fooled by the website - it looks nothing like that!

First time visit (yesterday) and I had booked with the intention of a straightforward, genuine massage. This was another advert stating 'NOT A SEXUAL SERVICE' which for me was supposed to be a plus this time.

The incall location is a clean, tidy semi near Giggs Lane with plenty of parking on the street. The massage room was warm with some relaxing music. The two Thai masseuses were very friendly and probably about mid-30s. Comms were straightforward. Decent English but with a strong accent so I had to ask them to repeat sometimes.

The first sign that there might be more on offer was that I wasn't offered a towel to drape during the massage. The massage was also conducted on a mattress on the floor rather than a massage table.

The massage was good and recommended. There were the CC swipes and the ladies tended to 'accidentally' brush their ass (in sweatpants) against my palms as I was face down. The prospect of being hustled for a HJ did distract my focus a little from relaxing and enjoying the massage. Turned-over and was still not offered a towel. Inevitably offered a HJ in due course. The price was £20 for a two-girl HJ; I politely declined. They tried to persuade me a little. They seemed a little disappointed when I declined again which detracted a bit from the ambiance.

Offered a shower and drink after we'd finished.

SUMMARY: I recommend the massage and to deal with any extras upfront.

I've been to both. The first one was around a year ago. She had just set up the shop and I got HR, but she admitted afterwards that she was hoping to be able to offer just massages without HR in the future.

I went to Dusita for the first time a year earlier than that and got one of the best services I think I've ever had in a Thai place (included OWO - sexy slim body etc). I then went to their Runcorn shop a few times and got HR regularly until the last time around 9 months ago when apparently HR was not on offer. I think they'd had a change of ownership but don't know how they stand at present, or even of the change of ownership affected StHelens.
