Is it a scam, or is she just cautious? (In Exeter)

So i came across this Asian profile on VS

Totally understand the pics won't be real, but the Chinese FS places seemed to pull out of Exeter maybe a year ago so when i saw the above i was pleasantly surprised.

I started by sending a quick text (around 11am) enquiring about location and extras. No answer an hour later so called the number, no answer. I tried ringing again 2 or 3 times throughout the day, always no answer.

Finally around 8pm i received a brief text asking me to add her as a contact on WhatsApp so she can verify my identity and send me pics.

Always shy away from opening any kind of attachment from anyone i don't know, and certainly not wanting my ID 'verified'.

Just wondered if you thought it was a scam or just an overcautious SP.

I am sure you are right but Meatywsg was concerned about being scammed or compromised in some way but if he has a separate punting phone that he has kept completely separate from and away from his "real life" - then what has he to be worried about?

No mate, never found the need (although granted it would be handy to use on this SP), don't have the typical shadow at home and in 30+yrs never had an issue with any SP i've used.

I did see that Jimmy, just never come across that from the Chinese SP's before. Maybe shes an independant just trying to stay safe.

Deffo scam,this is the 2nd vivastreet profile I have come across giving hotel info and asking for deposit, dont fall for it please It encourages this sort of scam.

The first time was for a girl in the hotel by crown court, wanted a deposit before giving room number,needless to say I didnt pay, they even tried to convince me by sending a live location map showing them at the hotel. When I walked back to car there was an Asian guy hanging around typing on what looked like WhatsApp round the side of the hotel tht was there when I arrived and left. Dodgy
