Oh God....I did not know about this until now. You know what, the break will do him some good because the climax of this arc was sloppy. I have other stuff to read. I have other woes to worry about anyway lol.

Swear, I'm keeping track mentally of over 80 stories at the moment so I'm cool. Seems the ending is in sight for One Piece. When its gone I don't know how I'll feel. As long as One Piece is an actual thing and not about the journey and the friends made along the way or I might send hate mail out.

Dear lord 80??? The most I was following was around 25 or so, but that was 10-15 years ago. I simply haven’t replaced the finished ones with new mangas.

I’m only keeping up with HxH and One Piece cause it was there since day 1. Kinda refreshing for things to “end” like Bleach/Naruto/DemonSlayer.

I made the mistake of picking up webtoons, cause I find then waaaay more visually appealing than mangas, which makes up for some of the wacky stories.

Relief, yes, but sad relief. Like you I was happy to see the back of many series. I only stuck around due to time I feel I invested in them. Naruto sucked in the end, Bleach stalled then rushed it’s ending which felt hallow (no pun intended)

One piece will be different, I believe I’ll have mixed emotions when the time comes.

Speaking of time, I think us day one fans have lost grasp of how much time has passed by. The first chapter of post time skip was released more the 10 years ago. Oda counts the Zou, Whole Cake Island and Wano arcs as one whole saga which took about 7 years or so to complete.

It wouldn’t surprise if the ‘final’ saga lasts around the 10 year mark. So we have a long ways to go.

I’m off of new epically long series. I may decide to get into a series that’s ended rather than read it live week to week or month to month.
