US sim card

Looking for some advice - off to the states for a week soon, and looking for a US sim for my phone. Anyone know of a good unlimited data sim deal for about a week? The only one I can find so far is 30 days for about £35, so looking for something a bit cheaper as won't need the full 30 days.

I'm with O2 and they have a deal whereby you can use your mobile phone in the USA, same as you would at home, for 4.99 per day. I'm sure other companies offer something similar.

So for a week, it'd cost you 35 quid and you'd not have any of the hassle of switching SIM cards and numbers.

And if you use WhatsApp for calls, you've got no cost anyway, as long as you've got access to WiFi.

Recetly went to the states with a throwaway 3 SIM as they didn't charge roaming fees

However, found that this was fine if calling UK as not counting as an international call, but any calls to/from somewhere in US was charged as international. This meant I was unable to call my hosts when out & about and when collecting hire car we had to provide the hosts number.

If there is another visit, will probably go to a store (not the airport vending) to get a card.
