Phone immediately answered and Dee said she could offer me a 30 min session that afternoon. I asked for 3pm and she said fine. The instruction was to go to a carpark on the outskirts of town and call just before 3pm for final address confirmation.
I drove the 45 miles to the said location. Called her at 2:50pm to get the final details. Phone answered immediately and Dee said she was running late and with a friend (presumably code for being unable to expose her trade on the phone) - she said she would be 15 mins late and would call me when she got home.
By 3:20 I'd heard nothing and sensing the vibe that this was not going to work out well (I have done these "just got in" punts before and the SP has been unrelaxed and unshowered which makes for a bad deal) - I moved away from the carpark (a private carpark belonging to a business - so a bit conspicuous to hang about in for too long).
I then left my phone in the car and called at a shop for 5 mins. When I got back to the car, there was a missed call from Dee and a series of garbled text messages left at 3:25/3:30pm about how she was now going to be even later because her friend "had left her bag". This was the point of no return for me.
It is a shame that she was not better organised - I spent the £80 on beer and fine foods that night. It could have been her money.
I have gone for neutral rather than negative that many would have selected because I suspect that if I'd had the time and patience, the punt might have happened - but it was certainly not a positive experience for me.
