I'm going to start with.... im an idiot
I called her last night. No answer. She text me around 10 minutes later asking if I called.
I responded saying I did and was hoping she was free to see me at short notice. She said she was and confirmed was staying at a hotel near the city centre. £80 for 30 mins. I thought great, I was only 10 minutes away.
I park up near the hotel a few minutes later and shoot over a text to let her know I've arrived. She immediately texts back asking if we have met before. I said this is our first meet.
I wished I walked away at this point. She messaged back asking for a bank transfer as payment. I responded saying I had brought cash and would prefer to pay this way. She declined and said no, due to previous bad experiences she would require a bank transfer on the first meet.
I started to walk away at this point but she roped me in. In the end I agreed to transfer 40 and pay the rest in cash. Once I transferred the amount, her response was "oh I cant see that it's come through". I waited in my car for an hour for her to confirm she received payment. Of course in that time she insisted I transfer the rest and she would let me come up to the room.
Thankfully I didn't transfer the rest.
It is only £40 so not the end of the world... but ill be honest with u, it really has put me off punting. I think this will be my last punt. Money is tight nowerdays with the rise in living costs, I've got to be smarter with what I spend on.
