Found this ad separate from the general Thai House massage place which I reviewed neutral / negative last time.

Under the name Joy texted me unprompted from a previous call I made 3 days prior. Asking if I was looking for a massage.

I replied yes and what time was available. Asked what the price was for soft vs hard. Said hard 50 per hour in a text. All agreed.

Turned up at the same address as Thai House massage. Was greeted by a youngish looking lady who was chirpy. I said here is the 50 and she looked at me confused. I said you said 50 in a text.

"no no that must be my friend who said 50 it's 55"

I said well here is the text and showed them it. She said it was a mistake her friend made (while holding a mobile phone and she answered the call when I arrived) and it's 55 for hard, 60 for thai oil.

I said no thanks and walked out. As usual... Trying to milk Glasgow dry for every pound going.

Won't return to anything under that address. Why is Glasgow pretending to have London prices?

Your 'nae joy' experience, kind of sums up the current massage scene in  the central belt...really depressing

The “current” (very poor) massage scene has been going on for years.

There’s a few bob to be made if an SP turns up, offering a good service at reasonable rates.

The OP was right to walk away albeit I would have probably paid the extra fiver. The SP clearly doesn’t care if she’s losing a “job” over a fiver.
