This thread on Craigslist morphed into a discussion on finding girls offering paid for sex on Instagram and other social media. We thought a dedicated thread would be a good idea for people to post about their experiences.

For my input I have used craigslist in the past to find amateur and semi-pro girls looking to make a few extra pound. Mainly I met university students. But as CL is now dead it is time to find alternatives. Some posters have used Instagram with varying degrees of success so I have just set up my account and will give it a go.

I've had offers on IG, but as stated their normally from the £500 - £1000 price range! if you haggle its likely it vary.

One thing to note is that you can get scammed too so be careful when handing over cash, if the arrangement doesn't look right move on to the next.

I have been considering a question on here for some time about the skimpy dresses ads on FB but I wasn't sure and didn't fancy the chance of ridiculed as an out of touch, dirty old man, which I suppose would be fair comment. There is a lot of reading between the lines, and pictures by the sound of it, but there are women and probably men selling sex on just about every social/sales platform.

Said it often before, young brits have no interest in AW or full time whoring, mostly, some still get there, the stigma and risk of being exposed makes them find other ways.

This review is an example of one that found her way to AW, but seems very part time and outcall other times, There just does not seem the desire amongst them to go full time.

I used FB dating a few months ago too. Found it pretty good well above PoF / Tinder in regards to matches into dates. On AW, the girls escorting are doing it as their job.  It literally pays their rent.  They put a price up and services, we bring the cash and fun times begin.  They NEED to see guys so that they can pay rent otherwise they will be evicted.
Now if you are messaging a random woman on social media.  She may WANT the money but she doesn't particularly NEED it (in most cases anyway).

She doesn't need it to the degree that she will sleep with a guy who makes her feel like a prozzy (eventhough she somewhat is) or a guy that she feels unsafe with or completely creeped out by.  It's like Seeking somewhat, full of girls that don't want to feel like escorts but are escorts to a certain degree.

Also you've got to make it so the woman doesn't feel that you are lying or trying to scam her.

I use a fake name but pictures is a tricky one.  My pictures aren't me exactly but they are the same age and race.
Have I sent my real picture to a girl and she stops responding/ghosts me? Yep!  It's happened multiple times.  I get over it, delete the number and move on to someone else.  What you'll notice, is a lot of women just won't respond to your messages.  Don't worry, plenty more fish in the sea!

I had to send a LOT of messages to find the 2 women I'm seeing now.  I learnt that being explicit or discussing services in a first message would get me instantly blocked and insulted,  9 times out of 10.  The ones that did reply to my explicit messages, where usually timewasters that would block and then screenshot my conversation.

I'm a guy in my late 40s that has never set foot in a gym in my entire life.  I like food a LOT and it shows.  I'm not some Brad Pitt.   However I am very very tactful in the first messages I send.  I just treat it like a normal conversation.  I treat it like I saw something on her profile that intrigued me.  From there I progress the conversation in a way where it shows that I am willing to offer assistance/a gift.  If she's interested lovely!  If not then I bid her adieu and move on. I don't send multiple messages when she doesn't reply and I don't comment on any of her posts.

It's a LOT of work to be honest.  What you'll find is a lot of women, just don't reply.  However even on Craigslist or Seeking, you're still dealing with timewaster, scammers and flakes. 

Is it easier to meet someone on AW and just get it over with?  Definitely x50.  Why do I do this?  I'm looking for something that's a bit more personal and that over the long term is cheaper. 
If I give either of the women I'm seeing now £200.  They will stay with me for at least 4 hours if not the whole evening, they have a great attitude and actually APPRECIATE the money.  Which is so big for me.  I can't get that on AW. 

Is it worth the work? To most probably not.  I have a long term girlfriend who is very very vanilla and we basically don't have sex anymore.  I travel for somewhat long periods of a time.  Being able to replicate that relationship feeling with a younger woman and it doesn't cost me a ridiculous amount is alright for me.

1 was a serious timewaster who found out as much details as she could about me.  Then tried to expose me to my girlfriend and family members.  I asked her what her motive was, she said her father cheated and she basically hated men.
The other one scammed me out of quite a bit of money and didn't even come to a single meet.  Tried to find out as much details as she could about me.  Then took a heavily edited screenshot of our conversation and posted it on Twitter.  Shaming me and all that nonsense.

You'll have to be on your toes in regards to crazies.  The majority of women however will simply just block/not respond to your messages.

Not really silly, I thought exactly the same thing reading about this, and I cannot be arsed creating fake online personas, so not going to try it.

With any of the non AW type platforms there is a lot of reading between the lines, deciding if the clues are there, and very neutral polite first contact, they will soon let you know what they are after.

Like seeking you have to input some time and effort, unlike seeking it usually bypasses the meals in posh restaurants, which is def not or me.

With too much time on my hands I have also noticed there has been good reviews for women who never have the green light on, do show a number, usually out call only but like the review I posted earlier, sometimes in call, and not high volume, seem to be part time, turning up on AW.

I did a Tofft with one who has more positives since, both here and on AW which look very genuine, I seriously think there is not a dearth of young women willing to sell sex, they just go about things different ways, Advertising the fact on AW and all the hassles that come with it, risk of exposure, premises, nosy neighbours and a myriad of other things just do not appeal, several have told me this. Pretty much sums it up perfectly, though getting scammed is quite easy to avoid, never send or give money until you are certain, the exposure nutters are why I am not considering the social media platforms yet, but learning from this thread 

It takes some time, being blatant from the off does not work, you need to be polite and engage in convo, this gives you a feel for her personality as well the other way round, which is nothing like calling, booking and hoping for the best, more young women than you think are into older guys and see them as safe hassle free fun and a way to earn a few quid.

Some ads have pointed warnings on to say any contact of a sexual nature will be reported due to repeat harassment.  I suppose these black girls modelling figure hugging dresses must get a lot of it.

There's been numerous media articles about it.

My OH gets a lot of harassment on FB messenger and even the Nextdoor app though it is mostly tame eg. 'Hi, how are you x', probably from when she's commented on some restaurant page or something.

CL - I've been getting some leads, couple slipped through, had a deposit scammer which was nice to see back again. Met a uni student the other week big Chebs, real VFM had may way with her, she was happy to stay way longer than we agreed. Still CL is up and down 1 day there was an influx of ads the next not many still people deleting ads as soon as they go up. Kinda funny how all the twink ads gets left alone.

Insta - Very interesting one, on my ghost account the algorithm threw up a couple of random girls amongst the memes, football, insta thots from the US, dogs etc....Both posing in a suggestively manner so I go on their page not many photos, 2-3k followers, one stating on her profile she was looking for an adventure, her previous stories are of her going out to restaurants, holidays, buying clothes so I DM'd her and asked her indirectly if she would be interested in meeting (paid). She said yes we exchanged some details so just for me to move it forward. Same for the other girl she replied just to chat to her more. Both look early 20s, fit bodies and everything. Be interesting what comes of this. I do get wannabe influencers of all sorts that shows up on my page however most are legit.

Watch out for the insta and fb marketplace.  Quite a few girls I noticed had no interest in meeting but were more interested in finding out as much about you as possible and then exposing the details in a group chat/twitter.  I don't know what these girls expected to gain, it's not like I'm a movie star

CL never seems to have any ads of interest up compared to before, I guess I'm looking on the 'wrong' days.  I find Tinder/POF quite exhausting and hard to conceal so CL probably isn't for me.

I had a little go at CL 5 weeks or so back, was in no fit state but stuck home, they are still there, no set times or days, they ads do not stay long, but if you contact quickly the email relay will continue.

I don't really have the time to check it and do emails to people who won't reply.  Get up at 8am, leave the house at 9am, work until at least 6pm etc.  It's not like dating apps where you can dip in and out during the day.

Well from what I've read it seems that Craigslist is very much alive and students are on there.  The main thing is finding a way to get an advert to stick and being in a fairly large city.  Nice to read.

I put ad up late Tuesday and went to bed, got up at 5am for work and had 6 replies, 1 was in my bed Thursday night for about 3.5 hours and I will def be doing it again with her, got another lined up, the ad was flagged but no idea when or how long.

Not posted again since, hit a good return that will keep me happy with a couple of  regs I enjoy, had to drop a couple, one was getting EAS ffs.

Put a different one up again it lasted about a day, after a couple of hours got a very explicit reply from a young woman who supposedly lived very close to me and only wanted a cash app 20.00 deposit to chat, then again more cash app to actually meet, I replied and said I was interested but my way of meeting doesn't agree with hers, as I only pay on cash at the actual meet, plus the very obvious European wall socket makes me think you are not in England, no reply

Messages will go for weeks, or months if you have made contact before being flagged, sometimes they go quiet, life gets in the way, scammers and pros are there too, but usually give the game away, deposit, fake pics, or by the hour.

Also try and make sure you post an ad that stays up over the weekend, I would usually get some solid leads when I posted ads that stayed up over the weekend.

Now it'll be tough because they will sometimes get flagged, just repost and repost.  Change numbers if you have to and keep an eye out to know as soon as possible when/if your ad gets flagged

It's probably the other person who's posted that is reporting yours to "elimate the competition" so to speak. As far as I understand CL dont actually check any ads that get flagged just automatically remove them instead.

Maybe try reporting all the other similar ones so the people back off?

You are correct, the ad is vetted and if passed it is self policing from then on.

For F advertising it is usually someone replying who then flags to remove competition, for seeking ads, the reason you suggest plus a load of idiots and probably a few do gooders too, it takes more than 1 report to get an ad removed, not sure how many.

London and probably other cities have this problem the most, Essex and Kent to a lesser extent but of course there is less traffic .

My technique for using FB.
I message a lot of hot looking girls on my suggested friends list. Just simply saying can I pay them for pics for my eyes only.
You have to out up with a lot of ignored messages or simple no thanks of course.
But more often than you'd think you get a yes.
Once we've whatsapped and I've explained I pay £5 per pic  they send me a tester and I send money to prove I'm real.
Then after we've chatted a bit I bring up meeting in person. 
It is a lot of effort. And you get a lot of time wasters of course.
But I've had some amazing meets. I then just ask if they can find a friend who'd do the same. And offer them money to find more girls for me so they have an incentive to help me. So it turns into a chain letter of women.

Just make sure your FB privacy settings are set so people can't search for you so if you get hassle from rude girls or their male friends you can just block them and move on.

FB marketplace percentage is ridiculously low, plus if your account gets reported it's a ball ache.  Have you tried CL?

It would be amusing if it turned out that UKP members were reporting each other on there, unawares

  you never know, plus there are many leechers on here who don't contribute whatsoever but are happy to benefit off the hard work from active UKP members it happens with so many specialist threads.

Either way it's annoying with ads being deleted soon as they appear, however managed to get a good couple of leads last week.

I've just had a look at FB, and can't tell what I should be looking for.
Most items are free to around £10, with not many showing someone modelling the item.  Most of the ones that are modelled are taken straight from Pretty Little Thing or whatever website.
