Anyone else watch this?

Frightening that these people are aloud the walk around unsupervised.
I found their views truly shocking I’d thought we had moved on as a society, admittedly it is America a 3rd world country outside the major cities. Hope these morons don’t export their extreme right wing views over here…but they mote than like will :scare:

His documentaries are good,he was a bit affected after realising Jimmy Saville had conned him in being a paedo. The Chris Eubank one good.

Some are suggesting Louis shouldn't even point the camera at such folks as it gives them airtime, exposure and perhaps legitimacy too.

The one he did on anorexia was very deep.

10000 star jumps a day. Holy hell.

He's so smart his faux dumbness lulls pretty much everyone into opening up and they don't even notice.
I did detect a more harsh tone from him last night though but he still managed to make those on the program look like idiots which they were, except for the girl who I think was very naive.

I really enjoy Louis Theroux shows. As stated he has a way of making the fools he talks to look even more foolish. He has a none threatening demeanour and I think because of how he appears he is always underestimated and assumed to be naive. He’s exactly the opposite. The right wing pricks he was interviewing once again showed their stupidity. Nick Fuentes. 22 years old preaching to keep America white. Fuentes…a Latino name. America…. A land built by immigrants.

It was disturbing that one, anorexia I’ve never understood,I just wanted them people to eat.

Yeah man, there was that young girl with middle eastern heritage that was a trained theatre nurse that refused to sit down in the hope of burning more calories.

So sad.

Yeah there were a couple of times I thought he was slightly different, almost as if he was giving an air of "Why the fuck have I got to put up with this crap"

The guy who kicked him off his property wilted pretty quickly when challenged then just went into a torrent of abuse / swearing / insults which continued on his show, tends to suggest he'd lost the argument  :hi:

Yeah I noticed Louis was a bit firmer with his tone. And rightfully so. Beardy, the guy who kicked off was a complete tool and couldn’t answer what was being asked. He couldn’t respond Louis challenging the few feeble answers he got any other way than to kick him off his land and continue his abuse on his streaming show. I thought it was great that Louis rang him live as he was broadcasting to continue his questions. Brilliant.

Wasn’t it mentioned, that twat Fuentes can collect around $4K a week from people subscribing to his channel.
It beats working I suppose.

As for the rest of the idiots on the show. If they each had another brain they still wouldn’t be half wits.

These people like to cherry pick the history of America they want to push forward. America was never white, it was invaded and the population who were their for thousands of years prior were hunted and killed

I wouldn’t stop him but I think he has a penchant finding or depicting anything sickening. If he didn’t have a film camera he’d probably be digging up stories for the Daily Mail.

Maybe this helps to explain why he’s such a negative little cunt:
Quote
Speaking on the True Geordie podcast, which streams on Spotify, the 51-year-old explained that he started to drink bourbon. Without keeping tabs on how many glasses he was consuming alongside the pressures of home-schooling and the events of the insurrection in the US, Theroux explained that the lockdown experience triggered “a combination of sadness and rage” within him, and by the end he was “on the edge” of an addiction problem

I think we’re familiar with the lockdown syndrome and the rise in the number of people who want to be outraged, offended or just plain angry and needing to blaming somebody for something. Not all of them have a movie camera and a budget.

Werner Herzog could add something of beauty while portraying sadness (e.g. Grizzly Man)
Channel 4 used to do outstanding investigative documentaries.
David Attenborough was known to cherry pick but his stuff was generally uplifting.
At least Ali G was funny.

Theroux IMO merely seems to exalt his own demons, and not particularly constructively or artistically.
