Sorry urgently posting this prob in wrong place. Plain clothes police have just piled into the location of HOD 1. Now there are other flats (2 others) but do the maths and it could be HOD. They waited till I left it felt like (thank god). But that could be my imagination.

Few more details now after I have calmed down a bit: About 8 of them, police not immigration. I don’t know anyone in HOD management obviously but may call them in 30mins and confirm all ok.

Perhaps a Groupon discount expiry rush.  Given the shit terms of the recent loyalty offering I doubt even they'd be eligible to get a free one from multiple simultaneous bookings.

Hope it's not (only) the girls in trouble.

Checking the HOD twitter they have been posting since that time as if nothing has happened so I'd guess it was nothing to do with HOD and may well be something to do with as you say one of the other flats.

If it was indeed to do with HOD it was likely nothing more than a welfare check on the girls.

It's no secret that the Police are well aware of HOD and permit it to operate as, and I do agree, it's far safer for these girls to work together than alone. They likely just spoke with them, checked they were happy and then left.

8 seems excessive for a welfare check. Usually only a couple of them rock up. I remember one girl telling me that one or two look very sheepish when they turn up. Looking forward to the OP's review whatever it was

Not really; they have 2 flats with usually up to 6 girls working plus the maid so one officer per girl and the maid plus one left over.

Excessive or not I thought they would have other things to worry about. Mind you it only takes a disgruntled punter or pissed off ex girl to give them a call and make a false allegation and I guess they're obliged to check it out.

HOD is well known by the Police, HOD girls are always willing contractors and can leave when the want. Its probably a better place than most places. Pay is well and punters are keeping them busy all day long. Cashing out 500 is in a day for girls is not bad at all.

I have seen too many to cound at HOD and most provide a good service as advertised, but of late I have not seen hot new girls, mostly its trusty old tarts lol..

Some of the longer standing members will remember hod with less affection given thier historical manipulation of reviews and other issues. They have thier place in the market and are convenient despite quality dropping recently. The price increase has brought them in line with many quality indies however which lessens the appeal. Attitudes do appear to have softened somewhat in recent years.

I agree that HOD does have its qualities and indeed I was a huge fan for many years and when I first joined the forum I spent quite a few posts defending them but as you say quality as well as quantity of girls dropped off sharply for them and since the quite frankly daft price rise I've gone from a once or twice a month 1 hours per booking customer to the occasional shorter booking maybe once every few months as a plan b.

Even the loyalty schemes, which when I punted there often and always for an hour at a time would have been of great interest, just isnt tempting me back especially now their prices out them in competition with some seriously good quality indies and indeed they are more expensive that a lot of indies despite being a brothel.

Back to the subject of Plod visits and I think we can safely assume nothing untowards happened as they are still operating. If such visits begin to occur on a more regular basis then something to bear in mind when planning a punt there.
