are we allowed to discuss these or does it fall foul of forum race rules?

won’t bother typing my main message out if it’ll just get deleted etc

Most probably depending on what you want to say. I know they have negative press but I knew a few of them in my youth, used to train with them and complete utter nut cases, the whole family was, likes a fight or two but I got to know them well and they were actually ok.

Probably best not to as it could be classified as race... Also where is the conversation going to go except complaining about them.

Why would you encourage someone to post something quite possibly against the forum rules?

New Rules for the Off Topic Board:

1. No religion, race, or politics.

The forum doesn't work on the basis of "better to seek forgiveness than permission". If the OP is uncertain they can wait for a moderator to reply here or they can send them a PM. Maybe this thread has already been noticed but the question not answered on the basis you shouldn't have to be told not to post things against the rules.

I have no idea what he was going to talk about, do you? For example is there a rule against, for example, me saying I used to be crazy for black girls but am not longer - which is true? Or that I love Thai girls, which is not, though I'm curious. Or that maybe if you fuck a traveller lady you're making a mistake - or whatever?

Of course I don't but the fact he posted the question shows he thinks he's on dodgy ground. "Post and hope for the best" is hardly good advice.

I am neither Mod nor 'helper' but, IMHO and I stress, it's my opinion - being a 'traveller' in the UK, is a lifestyle choice - it has nothing to do with religion, race or politics.  :hi:

I have a video of nutcases that is freely available on Youtube, Not going to post without clarification of the original question.   :D
Banned reason: Undesirable, previously banned, still attacking members, discussing UKP with SP, toxic personality, it’s a no from me!,

I thought "traveller" means what they used to call tinkers, a distinct group, famed for moving to a place and leaving filthy messes behind wherever they go. Perhaps the original poster can elucidate.

Romany Gypsies and Irish Travellers are legally recognised as ethnic groups, and protected from discrimination by the Race Relations Act (1976, amended 2000) and the Human Rights Act (1998).

Indeed they are and, this is very well known.

However, there are differences between race & ethnicity.

I will leave it there for fear of rule breaking :hi:

I haven’t a clue what he wants to discuss, so can’t say if it will break any rules?  :unknown: :unknown:
I’m sure he knows the boundaries, as the OP has been here long enough..

Not in the context of the Equality legislation. They are in the same protected category.. as is country of origin.

This topic would inevitably end up breaking the rules IMO. It would probably stray into politics also.

The audience thought it was fucking hilarious. Probably the way he told it. Duh!
