Made a booking a few days in advance for an afternoon session.  She asked that I text her to confirm the booking a couple of hours before hand, which I did and she confirmed all ok.

Got to her location about 30 minutes early so took a quick drive to grab a coffee and got a text letting me know that she couldn’t do the session due to a previous punter testing positive for COVID and needing to get tested.

Was inclined to believe her, except when I checked her profile about an hour later she had updated the text to show she was available for the next week including that evening.  Suspect she got a better offer and used the new version of ‘landlord, builder, gasman etc has turned up’ excuse.

Ah another excuse in their armoury to cover obvious double booking or being bumped for a regular.

This could be a thread on its own. Apart from some of those, I've had:
My dog was hit by a car
By mistake I took a sleeping pill instead of a paracetamol and didn't wake up in time for our meet - the fact that she had logged into AW a couple of hours earlier didn't escape me, resulting in a red review.

Yep, had the took a pill and didn’t wake up excuse.

Have noticed recently many girls no longer mark the booking as accepted, probably ensures they don’t get negative feedback when they don’t follow through with the session.
