If you want a prescription only drug then get a prescription.

Hardly a chance the doctor will prescribe it if I request it for bodybuilding, will see who else has managed to buy it

If you want to buy prescription only drugs then get a prescription, or failing that find a local drug dealer, there's a rule on here about discussing illegal drugs.

Apologies daviemac, will be careful in the future and apologies for any offence caused.

I was in some groups on the App Telegram that sold all kinds of stuff like that, I used to get good fat burners from there but left the groups years ago when the gyms closed with Covid. Trying and get into some of those would be your best bet I think for under the counter stuff.

I see the rules need to be explained to you.

Legality aside, you really need to take this under the guidance of a professional (ie your GP or a specialist)
Long term use might drop your natural dopamine production and also lead to psychological issues you may not even realise are coming from the drug.
If it's for delayed ejaculation, I feel your pain.
Is its for Gynecomastia.. Again your GP is best placed to help and consider dropping the cycle  :hi:

Hey daviemac, I'm just wondering if the question I asked comes under this ? I am after a prescription only drug but yeah the way would be illegal, does that still come under and illegal drug ? I thought that meant more for cocaine or heroin, it's probably the same as me asking for prigilly.

Just so we all know for future, any drug required illegal is against the rules ? Correct.

Thanks in advance.

Mate, your answer is given by yourself, illegal is illegal. Unless you are prescribed it.
Banned reason: Undesirable, previously banned, still attacking members, discussing UKP with SP, toxic personality, it’s a no from me!,

Genuine question, do you think it would be good for this site if it was seen to be a place where information was given on how to obtain illegal drugs and prescription only drugs cannot be sold legally in the UK making them an illegal drug.

Quite why anyone would want to take a treatment for Parkinson's disease is anyone's guess, unless of course it is to negate the side effects of Anabolic Steroids. (Another illegal substance)    :unknown:

I’ve always assumed that was the reason and it makes perfect sense.

As with all the rules, some common sense and/or an arbitrary (but fair) decision by the mods keeps things simple. We allow discussion of tadalafil (cialis, an ED drug like sildenafil yet still prescription drug rather than OTC) but not cocaine (a controlled drug).

So firstly, tadalafil is directly related to punting. It’s not a controlled drug (Class A B or C). Controlled drugs are on a special list under statute. While the lists used to be clear they now include vague categories such as ‘psychoactive’ drugs, which can include almost anything they want it to include barring tobacco, alcohol and nicotine (which are psychoactive exceptions).

We regularly discuss drugs for blood pressure and things that members get on prescription, which again seems ok. I think the mod is correct in stopping answers on where to get cabergoline as the suggestion is that it’s specially sought for “off-label” use — purposes for which it’s not even prescribed (even though it’s used for a big variety of things other than Parkinson’s).

Irrespective of whether Daviemac’s decision can be justified by appeal to technicalities though, he’s invoked the rule and someone has to draw those lines or we’d have endless arguments. Just find a different forum for the question seems the answer.

Hope that helps!

You nailed it, and you are correct, we should be drawing a line under trial drugs, Viagra and similar drugs are for the specific purpose but the ones are not should not be discussed.
