Offline DespicablemeGru

From time to time, I peruse girls advertising their services on Skokka and ask what services they offer. 99% of them seem to offer bareback, so I tell them I am not interested.

A couple of days ago, I received a threatening message stating that I had been wasting the girls time and that I needed to pay compensation !!!!

I blocked the number and reported it to Whatsapp. An hour or do later, I received another message from a different number, again threatening me and my family!!! Reported the new number to Whatsapp and blocked them.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with Skokka???

There have been multiple reports recently, both here and on the bear site.
Don't be surprised to be sent videos of guns being waved.

Two choices
either change the phone number and move on
or involve the police - they would need the phone and  SIM as evidence

important question:
is the phone number anonymous or can it be tracked back to you?

PS It's not just Skokka, Vivastreet has the same problem

I've not seen any reports of the threats being carried out
But if you have concerns, report it

Lol.. i had the same one.
With a video attached of some bellends in face masks waving a gun around.
Told the scamming c**ts to do one. Then blocked and reported.

Highly unlikely that they’ll ever find you. Block and move on.

Its all bull..
They use your name off Whatsapp, and generically use the threat towards family etc.
They are very vague in their messages, because they know nothing about you.
They know about as much as a fairground fortune teller.

Doe anyone still.have the number used, i wanna drop them a message, tell them.im still waiting.

If you:

  • bought the phone for cash
  • have always topped it up with e.g. PaySafe vouchers, not any sort of plastic
  • have never used the number for any online activity except WhatsApp

then you are probably safe from 99.9% of crims.  These stories of gun-wiggling WA vids sound like trying-it-on-wankers, not the 0.01% who are genuinely dangerous.

However, if you are using:

  • a phone registered to you personally
  • or which is linked to you online (Facebook is the pits for this)
  • or which you top up using plastic

then there is a small but non-zero chance that a sufficiently motivated organised crim could track you down using a corrupt member of staff at the mobile network, but they would have to have a really good reason to do so e.g. you harmed a girl or stole their money...

So on balance, while this sort of things is unsettling, the risk of harm is probably very, very low.

Another risk factor is if your phone number appears online e.g. company advert or business contact or similar

try googling your own number
