Theres a part of me thinking I really shouldn't need to warn anyone about this type of scam but then again it saves someone getting scammed because they are too stupid to work it out or maybe their cock just rules their brain then here goes.

Ive responded to two VS adds recently where the WG asks to message her via WhatsApp to make a booking then sends some nice pictures which match the good profile pics. Then comes the game changer when in both cases they asked for a 50% deposit to confirm the booking.

Both times I replied that they would get very little work in Newcastle asking for deposits, the first girl a few weeks ago never replied, the one tonight kept going for a while saying it was to protect herself from time wasters etc and said pay baby and come - yeh right pet.

Shame as she looked a belter if she had been real, I had checked all her pictures on my reverse image search and nothing has shown up.  :(

Ive just went back to her profile to add a link and it not showing now, found her under a VS search for Newcastle Escort.

I would be interested to know if anyone else Reverse Image Software could pick her up, I use Yandex and its usually very reliable

Just a couple of things, how is asking for a deposit a scam, there's even SPs on AW who do. It's only a scam if they take the deposit and don't deliver. Did they do this to you when you made a booking??

Secondly where did the photos come from.

Offline nerascal

She was showing with different profiles but same pics to be working in Middlesbrough, Hartlepool and Sunderland a week or so ago. Rang alarm bells with me.

Are you going to take the risk?

Would you recommend anyone else takes the same risk?

The pictures are what she sent me via WhatsApp and were different but matched the ones in the VS profile.

Seriously, who would send a WG 50% deposit and expect her to be there when you got there? its one of the oldest scams in the book.

You say yourself the pictures don't show up as dodgy yet you claim she's a scammer. How do you know she is. like I said loads of them ask for deposits.

If you have been scammed then post a warning about you being scammed but with this you are just speculating.

FWIW I would recommend every punter do their own due diligence and decide for themselves if a risk is worth taking then report the facts of what subsequently occurs.

If she (?) has moved the conversation to WhatsApp it probably is a scam as its easier for   her to delete the conversation and hide the evidence than with SMS messaging. Seen it attempted several times.

You've  not posted two key things which may help unlock the truth:
phone number
profile link

You were sent other photos via  WhatsApp- Typically image  search doesn't get the profile pix, but often does the follow-ups
Are the ones you posted from the profile or via WhatsApp

Like I said, the link disappeared, her number is 07832 087138

I had no luck finding either the profile or follow up pics using Yandex.

My old mother used to say "if it smells like shit son it probably is shit", Im happy to apply that logic to this. If you want to play defence barrister for the WG then no she didnt scam me because Im not daft enough to fall for it but I would say on the balance of probability sending deposits will end in tears most times.

Ive punted over 100 times in the last 6-7yrs and until these two recent examples Ive never been asked to book via WhatApp and pay a deposit, nor would I ever. As I said to you earlier, its one of the oldest and most effective tricks in the book yet people still seem to fall for it based on a few nice pictures.

Have to say I agree with the OP's caution. He might not have actually been scammed, and might not have proof that she's a scammer, but I personally would never send money upfront to an SP.

I'm not defending anybody, but you have made a statement without anything to back it up. Post a warning by all means but post facts. All you know is she asked for a deposit, so the warning should be that she asks for a deposit.

Nobody's saying you shouldn't be cautious, nobody's saying you should pay a deposit. What I'm saying is post a warning based on fact not speculation. The fact is she asked for a deposit.

If she’s asking for a deposit for an outcall then give her the benefit of the doubt to cover taxi fares and time wasted. But if she’s asking for a deposit for an incall then 100% it’s a scam

The deposit was 50% for an incall.

This was the second time its happened in the last month as well. Again it was a VS ad where other girl asked to go to WhatsApp, sent some hot pictures then asked for a deposit.

I forgot to ask in my original post if anyone else had noticed a trend for this?

Its a shame really because the pictures of the Thai girl are so up my street its almost worth risking £35 because if she was real I would be well pleased, I just cant bring myself to do it because if I got scammed I would be really annoyed with myself, more for being a dick than the money.

Vivastreet has a reputation for being full of fake or bait & switch profiles and scammers, it has done for years, it's nothing new. There's a thread from 6 years ago about it here. - https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=109668.msg1280198#msg1280198

What I don't quite get is you've posted this thread stating that because they ask for a deposit they are scammers then in the next breath you are thinking of booking one of them.

Yes there is an identifiable trend
Ask enough questions of the "girls" and the repeat answers give them away.
Sometimes you can badger them into giving an address - always fake.
My most recent ones were
A hotel closed for rebuilding
A wardened OAP flat
The same girl in four different hotels all with the same room number
A former BT phone exchange, now converted into industrial units
A Blackpool flat used by three girls who are part of a Liverpool county lines drugs gang (they weren't very clever at hiding their identities).

It was sometimes quite fun winding them up

I have had many a bad experience on viva street and some decent in that I have had my end away with a hot girl, that may or may not be the one from profile pic. These all tend to be late bookings after a night in town when I just want to blow my load, and Iv had a bit much of the Owld cough medicine.

Now I have come across so many of these “I need a deposit baby” before, in my search of outcall booking (not just in northeast). When Iv stayed in hotel room and requested outcall, I tend to ignore these and move on as I’m pretty certain it could be a scam. Now on a few occasions getting quite tired of the “£50 deposit baby” I decided to dig deeper and play along. A few of them Iv tried calling and no answer, immediately assume that it is sergy and he doesn’t want to give away the fact he has cock and balls, and not the smoking hot 18 year old teen that’s in the profile pic. On other occasions I have made up a complete random outcall location in a city many miles from where the viva add is claiming to be, and to my surprise “I can get there in 20 minutes in a taxi bbe ”, wow that’s impressive. Her add claims she’s in Newcastle and she can get to Leicester in 15 minutes. Few other occasions I have asked if they would offer some utrageous stuff to see what response is, like bareback anal (intention is certainly to not go through with it off course but to gauge response) and to my surprise “yes baby, this include in price”. All of these would offcourse ring alarm bells.

Pretty sure this is the same lass I contacted about a week ago from VS - I think she was advertising in Sunderland area(Tunstall?). No mention of deposits but when I questioned her on rates/services she said that £60/30min included a long list of services including ‘anal with no condom’ - at which point I decided to peruse elsewhere……..pics look similar anyway.

I was merely demonstrating how easy it is to fall into letting ones little head do the thinking based on its only £35, you can see how easily a scam like this can work.

The pictures above are from her profile, I remember them well, the link just disappeared.

Based on the thoughts and evidence here from other members I think it was a thread worth starting as its looking increasingly likely it is a scam.

As in my post above, ask her if she is available in another random city and your looking to book her imminently, most likely if it’s a scammer they will try and role with what your saying and go ahead with it.

To me that shows you had considered it, unlike me I would have dismissed it immediately, in fact I don't even look at Vivastreet as I know full well there's a very high risk of the advert being dodgy.

The fact still remains, you have not been scammed, you have been asked for a deposit.  You could pick any one of the hundreds of Vivastreet adverts and start a thread like this about them saying they are a scam, but I prefer to deal in facts, if anyone has been scammed then post a review about it, if you have been asked for a deposit then post a warning that they have asked for a deposit.

I believe this is her External Link/Members Only has a few texts with her. Said she was In A travel lodge next to the train station. There’s no Travel lodge next to the train Station. Asked for the postcode but never replies. I also got the feeling the profile is a scam. Same girl has a different advert last week but with slightly different pictures. There are a few dodgy adverts on there at the moment.

Initially she gave me a postcode in an affluent area of Jesmond which was very unlikely. Then she said she was in the Travelodge in Newcastle, when asked for the postcode of which one she said near the Station, my reply was there aren't any near the station, no reply.

What is disappointing is none of her pictures are coming up in my reverse image searches. He/She has a lot of clean pictures.
