I enjoyed the fun posts. Especially the 'mellow' one.
My own definitions are based on what is of benefit to punters.
I see two.
1. Firstly, in terms of getting meaningful field reports. A fluffie's FR is generally 10/10 and tells us that she was (insert list of words and phrases in superlative). It is of zero use in making an assessment. It is perhaps enjoyable to read by another 'fan' of that particular lady.
2. It can be nice to live in unreality. Punting, even GFE, is a sort of con to which one submits to, preferably willingly (at least one hopes).
An example of this is when men visit Copacabana, a highly tourist-orientated suburb of Rio de Janeiro. There you can, more often than not, experience what I call the 'Disney' effect. 9/10 girls there, if they are any good, will go out of their way to make you feel that they are in love with you and you with them. You are carried along on a high that can last for days or weeks. Occasionally you might even mean it, and very occasionally they do too. The emotional intelligence there btw (IMHO) outstrips that of western cultures, both in a positive and a combative sense.
Now take the same girl out of Copacabana, and she has much greater difficulty in maintaining that illusion. It is a routine she knows well in familiar surroundings. Cynically, I can point out that if the bottom line is saving money, you can get decent service and GFE a lot cheaper than you can in Copacabana (Disneyland). Many girls in the less touristy areas charge a fraction of the price. But it can also be like going on a big dipper at Southend rather than the same or similar big dipper in Disneyland Paris. So occasionally I indulge. (And even with new exchange rates I manage to get a Copacabana overnight for £30, though many beginners and not-so-beginners pay more).
So there is nothing wrong with being a fluffy. As long as you don't get hurt and don't overspend. Enjoy it while it lasts. (And expect some stick over the fluffidom field reports.)
