Thanks for your responses, Toby and Forrest.
@toby: as I understand it, and I am not an expert, it's not the wanking (obviously people have always done that) - it's the combination of wanking and the levels of stimulation/immediate gratification you can get from an internet porn overload. There hasn't been anything like it before, and our brains get used to levels of gratification and seek new stimuli - for example I imagine the first skydive must be pretty terrifying, but by the 100th it might be routine, and possibly even somewhat boring.
Essentially you are transferring your sexual impulses off women, and onto screen-based media. Doctors have noticed young males (teen to twenties) having ED, which *never* happened before. Young males might be prone to coming too soon, but never used to have problems with hard-ons and this is down to PIED caused by porn addiction while their brains are still developing.
I'm sorry, I didn't explain Arginine properly. It increases blood flow - it's an amino acid, a protein that you get in your food. Taking it about an hour before a punt should help blood flow to the penis which improves erections and sensation.

He did one on Natural Sex Boosters - which I recommend. You can check out what he thinks of various substances on that site. What I like about him is he actually takes things and writes about their subjective effect, rather than just quote academic papers. A field man, rather than just a desk jockey.

[[Link hidden, login to view]] It says here that Arginine can be used as a cream for ED. First I've heard of that. Interesting - I just take it internally.
@UKPers: I expect others of you have experimented with non-pharmaceutical "sex boosters" (that is not viagra, kamagra, cialis etc)- I'd be interested to hear of your experiences.
