So as I said at the top of the review the location was a hotel and I parked in the car park. This part serves as a warning to others who do visit this hotel either as a punter or a guest themselves.
ANPR/Car park fines and charges aside it seems this car park may not be a safe place to park your car. While I was leaving as I said I input my car reg in the tablet before leaving. There was a guy in front of me so had to wait to speak to the receptionist but I overheard part of that guys convo. He had just been car jacked from what I could tell. No idea what car he had etc. but was being advised by the hotel and security to call police. He went off to call them and I did what I had to do. But when leaving I asked the question to the security guard and lady on receptions what happened. They tried to stay vague on details but managed to get out that the guys car had been robbed and did deem like a carjacking.
I feel extra lucky as that may have been me as I was at BMW to pick up my new car. It's because of their cock up I took my old banger to the hotel otherwise that may have been me. Not sure if thieves watch the car park or if that guy was followed etc but be careful it the advice.
