Annoying Things About Adultwork Profiles That most girls seem to do

I am starting this in the hope we can come together a list of stuff that has to be the most annoying things about Adultwork profiles that most girls seem to do clearly not knowing how annoying it is for punters. In the hope that girls who will inevitably read this will hopefully change theirs.

My list

1. Do not put 'now' or 'today' down on your text

I feel like screaming this one, it is so annoying when you see in the top of the profile, working today, 'available now' or last day in Newcastle today.

This is the most useless line ever put in the top of a profle as I will not believe you. Put some damned context to it to make it believable.

As in Available now (Tuesday), Last day in Newcastle Today (Tuesday), available today (Tuesday). By putting the day I believe you have actually updated your profile today and said that today and will book. And not just said that four days ago and just logged in to check an email today and you are not working today as you meant that for four days ago.

2. Give a general area of where you are in the city

Again so annoying when they don't do this. I want to know where you generally are so I know if I can get to you or not. Girls are so finicky about being phoned up when they are possibly not going to be eventually booked. And yet you give no clue where you are meaning guys are going to have to turn you down on finding out (which usually results in extreme anger from the girl on being told you are too far for me to get to)

For Newcastle it seems girls think all the way in the circle radius of from South Shields, to all the way to Cramlington, to Washington to Durham is all Newcastle to them in their AW profile. When really none of those are Newcastle and there is no way am I travelling to most of those. So I need to no generally where you are.

Flat in Gosforth, Heaton, Jesmond, near the central station, in Gateshead near the hospital none of these are going to reveal your location but its going to make it a hell of a lot easier to know it we can make it to you for a booking.

3. Explain what your at discretion terms are on the profile text

I need to say these points are so infuriating I feel like screaming out at times. The girl puts A-Level at discretion and then in the profile puts no mention of her terms of the discretion. I do not want to phone you up (and thus time waste your time) just to find out and negotiate what your discretion terms are to see me. I want it on the profile.

4. Don't only have one picture of your back, or one photo that when you click on it is the size of a stamp

Why do you think one picture of your back is enough to see you. And why do they have that picture the size of a postage stamp. That picture is of no use as you cannot make out anything in it.

5. Don't lie about your age

I don't expect to be told you're 25 when you are 32 when I turn up.

I agree totally about the location, nothing worse than not being told whether it's City centre (ie: I can take a train), or miles from anywhere (I need to plan using a route planner so I'm not late).

Most prossies in London don't seem to have the common sense to put the nearest underground station in their profile. Saves a great deal of time IMO at the planning stage when they do.

If there's something I can't stand is those stupid ASCII art/pictures that some prossies add to their profiles. It's usually the ones who haven't got much to say they fill up the page by adding those ridiculous ASCII pics.

6. Don't fill up your profile with stupid ASCII pictures

7. If you are touring say how long you intend to stay for

Agree, saying last day or even first day in town in meaningless and often means I'm parking my profile here whilst I bugger off for a fortnight. If genuine touring girls put something like 'here until Friday' it would make life easier.

8. Don't put the best on AW

Seeing the best bj on AW, tightest pussy on AW and so on annoys me - how the fuck do you know that? To me it generally means I think I give a great BJ and have a tight pussy, which really means I give a crap bj and have a baggy fanny.

Also agree with the give your real age but things are too far gone for that, they all lie so where is the incentive for one or two to be truthful. Same as offering services on the profile that they have no intention of giving.

Agreed, but a quick check on the last login date usually gives you a clue as to when it was posted, esp when the posting said "today".

9. List the price of extras

I don't mind how you structure your prices, I just want to know what I have to pay for the service i want. QED if it costs extra tell me how much. Where I'e mailed girls and got the same evasive reply they usually end up blacklisted.


10. Don't have to small a profile

Sometimes when there's nothing there it means the "likes" are put in a scroll box and you can only see 1 or 2 at a time. Totally useless


11. Show what times you work.

Some girls work maybe 10-2 (lets call those mums) and some work 11-7pm, and some work evenings. Let me know what hours you are working.

Agreed, but a quick check on the last login date usually gives you a clue as to when it was posted, esp when the posting said "today".

It doesn't as like I say I have personally in my watchful eyes of a profile seen a situation occur many times as the text being there saying available today but the girl not signing in for two or so days. And then you keep an eye on the profile and then you see later on that day, last sign in today. But the profile text remains untouched.

This therefore means either

A. She has signed in just to read an email and is not working today.
B. She is lazy and means working today that she added yesterday means the same for today.

The other annoyance is the last day in Newcastle. She may sign in but she may now be in Leeds or whatnot as that text ws added yesterday.

I have suggested this in the past to people, but found since then in many cases for Newcastle - which I am guessing will be the same all over the country. Most girls - particularity touring girls - put their location as NE1 (as in the postcode of the centre of newcastle or it could just be as its the first in the newcastle poscode - as in number 1) when really they can be miles away in the sticks and about an hour plus drive from NE1.

Thinking further, on the extremely small chance anyone with any clout inside Adultwork will ever read this topic.

What would be great is to have on the profile a last edited date. So you can see the last time the girl has made any changes to her profile.

And you could then if you wanted set as a search string "search those who have edited their profile in the last week[/b]

Those would be good and it would keep things fresh and it would mean girls would keep ontop of their Aw profiles and not be a lazy, I set this up in January and its good for the year.

Absolutely agree -how hard is it to just say "5 minutes from Fulham Broadway"? Also, I'm pretty sure there's a question in the interview that asks them to name nearest station, but hardly any of them do, of course.

Absolutely - in my experience, these girls are actually at Canada Water, but add Canary Wharf as it is better known and sounds more upmarket.

Or don't put any of it as if AW see the words today or Tuesday etc they will delete your profile and keep all the credits as it is against their T&Cs to put any of it on your tag line.  The only way you are not allowed to let people know you are working that day is by showing as available by paying for it

Adultwork are quite right to do that, they are a business not a charity, some girls want everything for nothing.

What would be great is to have on the profile a last edited date. So you can see the last time the girl has made any changes to her profile.

You can search for the last edited profiles though.  On the main search page go to bottom right hand corner and there is an option to search by last modified date so those who modified their profile last come up first so you know those are likely to have changed their profile in the last couple of hours

But is there a way to exclude those coming up in my hits who have not edited theirs in the last week or two?

No but you know the first few pages that come up will be profiles edited in the past few days.  If you also have an age set as well as location,, price, free gallery, size and services that should be enough to bring up a few who would be worth seeing.  It will just be those at the top updated that day and the further down you go the longer ago it was they updated.
However you may miss some really good ones who don't update their profiles as they don't need to.  After all if you say everything you need to say and you pay to be set as available why would you need to keep changing your profile.

It was until recently the more you update the more you get to the top of the page but it doesn't work that way anymore so there really is no point in updating your profile unless you have new info to put on there as you cant put date or today in the tag line.  some people do put the times they are working that day in their main profile text but many don't bother with that so you might be better off searching for either available today or using the local escort search as if they are paying for that then they are probably working that day

They are slow off the mark. For the moment, the year they were born, or the year they joined AW is just about as far as they've got.

I'm sure it used to be the case that if you added someone to your hotlist then looked at it in list view, I.e. without the photos, it told you when the profile was last edited. Not sure if its still the case because my hotlist has got so big that its become pointless looking at it.

Location in London is woeful sometimes. I see profiles sometimes that say Barnet, the WG is in fact in Golders Green, 5 miles or so from Barnet. Barnet is the london borough Golders Green is in. The profile map does though help a bit with this but as has been said is onoy the first part of a postcode and can still be a couple of miles or more from the exact location.

Also London is a big city, if i see North London i expect the WG to actually be in North London, on ocassion they are in Paddington as an example, that isnt North London by any stretch of the imagination.

Don't have duplicate photos in your gallery
I've seen a few profiles - usually on the lower end - where the free gallery photos are the exact same ones as on the main tab, or there are multiple copies of the same photo. That's annoying.

I've seen a few profiles - usually on the lower end - where the free gallery photos are the exact same ones as on the main tab, or there are multiple copies of the same photo. That's annoying.

Clearly defined likes lists with their discretion criteria spelt out
Accurate pricing
Up-to-date and accurate availability
Actually updating the profile on a regular basis
Multiple means of making contact (text, call, email)
etc.

Go further and imagine a prossie who actually operated like a professional business (keeping up with correspondence, fresh approaches to advertising, giving a shit about customer satisfaction, organisation, etc.) and the money they could make.
