First time I have seen a wg needing to know your occupation before a potential meet, what is all that about?

Perhaps that is the occupation she is looking for?

Offline Belgarion

She's not the first to do this, there was an SP on the old UKE that had similar requirements.

It's something they've seen in the States and are trying to copy.

I am always a lawyer if I need to mention occupation. Over the years I found it easier to make this up then to decline to answer the question.

I have even been asked for legal advice

I’ve never been asked prior to a punt, but I have in chat during a punt. If asked, I work for HMRC. That usually kills that line of conversation

I knew someone who often got asked by tedious types, what to you do?, and there's always be that inflection on do.

I work in a clockmakers, he'd say, and they all coo Really? How fascinating!

And then he'd say. yeah, I shovel the shit out of the cuckoo clocks.

They stopped asking him after that.

I seem to recall one or two doms would ask something similar from prospective subs.
I have no idea why it woukld make the slightest difference,
"So you would like to book a session for two hours. that will be £500. But unfortunately you are a supermaeket trolley collector so I can't see you"

Oh yeh I can see that happening. :D

For a Dom asking a prospective sub it will be the same reason as a Sugarbabe asking a Daddy, basically work out what his job is so they can work out how much he earns and is likely to have saved / invested etc so they know how much they can rinse the guy

Anyway best to tell them you aren't working as you've only just been released from prison, when they ask what you were in for you could tell them any old shit like killed a prostitute but the reaction would be  :scare: Obviously that's a joke, don't tell them that as it would seriously disturb someone.

I normally just make some shit up like an old job from the past or something that only a couple of people in the country do -
Water diviner; Fletcher; Town cryer; work in a factory I put the jam in jammie dodgers which could actually be true in Blackpool as Burton biscuits are here, just thought of a new one I make Blackpool rock

I do recall reading some SPs were considering occupations to be associated with perceived higher or lower risk of Covid-19.

For example healthcare = potential more exposure at work.

However could be argued healthcare = more likely to be being tested regularly and or vaccinated and or greater care regards avoiding contact with other people.

Not to spark a Covid-19 thread, simply one possibility.

bovine taxidermist. i stuff cows
anyway, terrible joke aside...

perhaps she's thinking she wants a particular type of client...

bricky/sparky etc are messy/smelly and maybe hard work
officer worker etc is bland and easy money
qualified professional etc is money bags but hard work sometimes
businessman is moneybags and will fly her around the world

obviously, these are massive generalisations

Good point she might not wanna see a care home worker or someone more at risk from covid.
