I currently have a reverse booking up on AW. Would it be useful to email any WGs I fancy to notify them, or would that be considered poor form?

Judging by the amount that have "don't bother to ask for discount/ I don't negotiate my rates" etc not something I would do. Even WG's I have seen before on a previous reverse bid I have always waited till they email me, although in that case I would possibly have just emailed saying got a similar rb up as last time if you are interested. Just my opinion though others may say go for it

You can try. but be prepared to be blocked from a few  Some may be happy to bid but others will throw a strop and block you as they will see it as you trying to get them cheaper than they advertise and will use the old "if you want to book me pay what I state" rather than even bother taking a look.

Most people look at the RBs at some point even if it is just a quick flick through when bored so most if they wanted to bid would anyway.  Some girls bid on all of them, some bid on ones they like the look of now and then and some refuse to use the RBs as they wont budge on price even if really quiet.

Cheers Dani. Poor form, as I suspected it might be. Worth asking though.

No its not poor form.  You are letting the girl know you are interested in seeing her but would only do so if she accepted your rates or put in a bid a bit closer to your rate however some will take it as you saying they are not worth what they charge or some other personal dig at them.  If you are very flexible on your day and time you could always say if they want to bid you could do it at a time convenient to them so if they have a quiet day they know they at least have one booking.

However again it depends on who it is and what attitude they have towards flexibility

Okay, so basically try to put it over in a respectful way, and not to send it to anyone that I don't want to run the risk of blocking me. Thanks.

What you don't want to do is piss a WG off that you want to see. For me if I want to see someone, they'd have to be in my price range anyway and I'd contact them direct. RB's can be fun as you see what turns up particularly if you don't have a particular type of girl you go for. I had a good punt a few weeks back with a WG and her husband who'd responded to my RB. Added a few to my HL too.

What's even better is when someone you want to see bids well below there normal rate - an all round win.

Personally I reckon it'd be okay to tell her you have a RB up and were wondering if she was interested as you'd quite like to see her. She can always politely decline and it's a situation where she can lower her rates on her own terms.
After all, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. :)

I sent one email out, and received the reply that she didn't see anyone who hadn't already got some feedback (I have zero, only being on there a few days). I don't count that as a negative though, as it's better to find out early and I now have something to aim for.

When I first started doing RB's 4 years or so back I thought it was polite to respond to bids from girls that matched my criteria thanking them and saying if they weren't successful this time at the end of the "auction" then please feel free to try again on others. I also tried mailing a few girls that I was interested in seeing and pointed them at the RB as well.

It can work for and against you though.  On the negative side, making contact with a girl means that they can leave the dreaded hidden notes against you on your profile for other girls to see. On the positive side, some girls that were pointed at the RB did actually bid and were successful.

It probably works better if you have some positive feedback though as you could possibly be regarded as a newbie time waster by some if you have a big fat zero at the moment.

Reading a girls feedback can give some further insight - some punters mention that their meet was as a result of an RB especially on field reports.

No point in asking girls that say they won't negotiate on prices - even though many bid on RB's well below their rate on the quiet!

I PM'd Veronica about mine a couple of months ago, hopefully she didn't think that as she's on the HL I'm working through!

I wouldn't email any of the escorts about a Reverse Booking, as it being said, you might get blocked

I find the best way to get the most out of your reverse booking, plan ahead, and tell them you want to meet in 4-6 weeks time, that gives plenty of time for the escort to see your bid, where as: I want to meet you at the end of the week, your only giving the escort 4 days notice, and see may well be busy

Good tip, the more time you give the better chance of the response you want.

I've found though you will get a lot of bids on the last three days or so. It is better to do it at least for two weeks in advance. If there is a particular  wg you like email her and tell her your budget, she can say no and if she blocks you move on!

The default setting when girls look at RB's is one week in advance - unless the girl changes it to look further ahead. The default rate setting is £75 per hour.  If the girl isn't too bright and leaves everything at default then she wont see a 2-6 week in advance booking until the final week - hence why there would be more bids in the last week.

If you put an RB for a 12 hour overnighter on and the girl leaves the rate at the default then she wont see anything below £900!   Hopefully the majority of them change the defaults but I bet there are quite a few that don't...

I would think most of them would miss it!!

Hi ellwoodpdowd

What is the solution to this issue to get your overnighter viewed more?
If you end up having to put in £75/hour or greater then it might defeat the purpose of putting in a reverse booking
ie the hope for a low price for an overnighter at considerably lower then £75/hour.

Thanks
