There's rarely any real reason to read the news. If you're addicted, check out RT occasionally which takes the piss e.g. British children allowed to "choose which sex they are"  :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: (true, and also the piss take).

Reuters or AP are more factual. And you can go on the govt websites to see the latest rules about not coughing over everyone or getting swamped with paperwork if you travel.
