I don't usually like hotel meets, I prefer apartments/house meets, but I stopped off at Lymm services for a break and walked past the place in question and I got an itch, how intrusive is the reception there? is it an easy and straight in entry? I can deviate from my normal route home and take in a meeting if it is easy to scoot past the reception desk

I had a booking there a few years back and no problem at all going up to the room.
But I did have a problem with my sat nav getting there off the motorway - "Navigate Off Road" - thru the services. Then I had to go across a damn small bridge.

thanks USRoads, the services is one of them funny ones where you have Ito come off the motorway to get to it but I was surprised by how accessible the front of the hotel was and I tried to peer into the reception area but couldn't really see (I was with colleagues so couldn't make it too obvious)

The reception is opposite the entrance in the lobby. The corridor with rooms in on the right. The stairs are the right too.

 You just need to know in advance if the girl is ground or first floor (I think first floor starts with 1xx) then go in, turn immediately right and either walk down the corridor or up the stairs.

Given that there are 3-6 WGs in there every day the reception will ignore you, assuming anyone is sitting there.

It's fine, just get stuck in...last January it felt like I was in there at least twice a week...

Great info thanks, I can see a booking coming next week. Quite looking forward to getting back to work for a change
