I visited Refresh Thai Therapy three times in the summer/autumn of 2020. It's just off City Road, and it's a nice enough decked out space with 2 or 3 rooms. Long/thin/partitioned with a heavy duty massage table.
The first time I was massaged by Alisa in August 2020 and had a very good experience. A genuinely excellent massage that sorted out some shoulder issues, and gradually got more sensual with nice enough HR for £20. She was friendly and chatty and I guess in her early 30s.
I'd enjoyed it enough that I was looking forward to returning. The second time was October 2020, it was a cold wet Cardiff evening and the rooms were freezing cold. Not a very welcoming environment. The masseuse was visiting (she never said her name) and it was just very poor. Some stretching and firm prods, but nothing approaching a competent massage. No extras offered.
The third and final time I visited was November 2020. On the basis that the second time had been a visiting therapist I thought I'd try again. Again, it was cold in the room. I was face down and didn't know who the masseuse would be. Within a few minutes of dreadful massage, I realised it was Mimi (

She just massaged one side of me with lashings of oil, to the extent that my right thigh was drenched and my left thigh bone dry. Boring, repetitive, and based on my last experience was going to go on for another half an hour before she would limply prod my dick to offer HR. I got up, made my apologies, wiped down the oil and left. Not worth wasting anybody's time.
I think like any shop in the current world, lots of staff have left and not travelling around and you're going to hit lucky (or not). I gave up on this place once Mimi appeared, but my first massage was excellent. Sounds like others' more recent experiences have been good.
