I've not punted in ages due to using a regular WG ( not available ) & the pandemic but thought I'd get back into it with a wee booking with hotchocxxx tonight to brighten up my boring Sunday, thankfully I had a Plan B...

I exchanged texts & she agreed to a booking at a well known hotel on Jamaica Street, she seemed avasive as to speaking on the phone which was odd but I headed into town anyway & parked up, I called her twice on arrival but yup you guessed it she wouldn't answer the phone...

2 minutes later another text asking was I there yet... Duhhhh yeah I'm here

I gave up as there is no sane punter who would be guided into a hotel via text message, it could be anyone, I need to know who I'm dealing with & if they are genuine or not...

I dodged & bullet & saved £80, Plan B was great, an in call with Mercedes Phillips, I need to put up a wee review on her...

I’ve met hot choc before but it was before I joined here and to long ago for me to review.

She is actually a pretty good punt and really easy to get on with. Her comms aren’t great though. I’ve tried to see her again recently but I get no reply to my calls or texts. I’m using a different number than I did the first time I’ve seen her so I know it’s nothing to do with not wanting to see me again. I’ve given up trying now which is a pity because she was decent

Thats absolute bollocks!...Very seldom have I had to do anything but text...

It's not difficult, text on arrival at hotel, then the WG will text the room number... If you're not familiar with the hotel, probably best to ask (in the text) where the lifts are situated on entering... Voila!...

Maybe the hard of thinking amongst us dont get my point, it's not a discussion about if texting, emails, phone calls or smoke signals are the best way to go but that the WG was evasive & deliberately avoided wanting to speak which would save me a lot of fannying about when entering a hotel I don't know, if your a punter who enjoys hanging about in a hotel lobby waiting for a text message then feel free, other punters who have seen her confirm what I'm saying...

There is no "hard of thinking" about it, as you put it... Text or call on arrival, you still don't know whether it will be a B&S in any case... Unless you want video/zoom calls beforehand!... Let that sink in...

Plus any punter that has an ounce of sense will know not to hang about in a hotel lobby... Any comms can be done outside the hotel, and it's more inconspicuous to text (especially if in middle of city centre) than call...

Either find a quiet spot away from the hotel entrance, if not possible, stand at a bus stop and text... If you drive to booking it may or may not be easier to deal with comms in your car...Its not rocket science...

It’s not being fluffy.
Communication by email/text only is the standard way of doing business.
If you feel more comfortable talking to an escort in person before you meet, then that’s totally fine, but unless you made this crystal clear in your communications then the neg is unjustified imo.

...and 6 years of membership and you've only managed 4 reviews, No disrespect, but you talk as if you're some great oracle on punting when clearly you aren't.
